Higher temperature will do that :) if you use a hair straightener and use it on the highest setting - your hair will be way shiner than if you use it on the lowest temp setting. But in the long term will eventually damage my hair, so I’m still sticking to the Drybar tool. It’s been months, and my hair even doesn’t need a haircut, which I’m actually shocked about - no split ends!!😍
I own the Revlon and the DryBar. Although I love my Revlon is does get super duper hot. The DryBar doesn’t get as hot. If I want more sleek look then I use the Revlon; otherwise I use the DryBar. I find that the DryBar is better for everyday. My hair is naturally curly and frizzy and they both do an amazing job. No need for a flat iron. I haven’t used it in over a year. LOL. Great video by the way. Thanks for sharing.
Never try Revlon but I had a hot tool curling iron just had to get a new one. This year it was about 15 years old so about 3 years ago I bought the hot tool one and love it
Thank you for that review. I also have fine and thin hair. I have Dyson regular hairdryer and the airwrap. At first I thought to myself somebody must be super crazy to spend that kind of money on hair tool and here I am.. buying both. lol. I don't like the round brush attachment to airwrap ( way to small and I wish they come up with bigger size of this brush) I recently purchased hot tool brush and I returned it because it was getting too hot for my type of hair. Same with Revlon brush. So Im going back to old fashion way and use big size round brush and my Dyson hairdryer or the airwrap with smoothing brush attachment.
Just found your video. Actually it is the same company that supplies/builds the revlon and Drybar to both companies. That is why you feel like it is the same :D .
@@APodcastaboutGod hey girl I wanted to see your review but I don’t see anything on your channel. If you can, let me know if you change your channel name I would love that. Thanks, Sarah
Your hair looks shiner and healthier on the hot tools side, nicer and smoother than the drybar style from a previous video.

THANK YOU for this review. This is the most thorough and non-salesy commentary I’ve seen. I have fine but long hair and don’t want to destroy it...

Bought the new hot tools for less than the Revlon It is the new professional gold version. I love it!

Revlon is very expensive now🥺
Are you going to review the Bed Head version of this dryer?
How do you like the oval shape compared to round?
I prefer it!
@@JuliaCaban Thanks. May I know why? What are its advantages over round shape? I am struggling with it. That's why I'm asking.
