Hello DynastiJ, the compost we bought from store is already enough to support for the plant's growth by its own. Since the compost is soft and highly porous that makes the water gone quickly. We commonly add one part of hard soil (since we do not have better soil) and three parts of compost in volume, then the mixture is good enough for us!
