I have a trilogy neck and middle in my hss with a juggernaut in the bridge…it is such a monster. The neck though is so tubey glassey sounding its hard to explain. I love the neck pickup
The audio has been edited. Would like to hear the same demo of these pickups on a fender strat without a scallop neck! I think it will sound very different!
any chance there will be videos of the Emerald bridge? I was interested in it based off its frequency chart and being highish output. I wanted to put it into a mahogany body semi hollow, but there’s not much information out there on it
Absolutely love the sound of these pickups (as well as Danny Dela Cruz's playing) - I do have one question. These are advertised as going from the best single coil clean to a P90 flavored grind and all the way into high gain. How noisy are these single coil pickups compared to lets say the stock single coils that came with my 1978 Strat in 1978? I ultimately had to pull out the original pups bcs. the 60 cycle hum was unbearable. I do have some ISP Decimation in my main rig but I'm thinking of sprucing up a Partscaster with these Trilogies and using them in a simplified practice setup. My BKP Painkiller (bridge), transformed a (mostly) stock PRS-SE Custom 24 into a MONSTER, so I am sure these would do similarly as well in a 2nd hand Partscaster. Worried about the single coil noise tho bcs. these pups ain't cheap.
Hi Darren, true single coil pickups don't reject hum, so it's very dependent on the noise level in the environment that you're playing in. With suitable shielding in your guitar, it should be perfectly manageable, but they are by no means a noiseless design.
@@BKPickups Hello and thanks so much for the personal reply. I am looking at the Ilitch noise cancelling backplate BPNCS for Stratocasters, as these pickups do sound amazing.
You put Malmsteen to shame man.... do I like the tones? no, but I don't like what I am hearing from Malmsteen himself lately either... I watched some Cobra and Mother's Milk sets demos, and if I would shred, those sound just better, more top end, more articulate to me. That is just me though.

Does hum seem to be an issue? I love them

We aim to eventually get some deep-dive videos produced of all of our models!
@@BKPickups awesome! Can't wait
Incredible sounding pickups. If anyone from BK sees this, which of your humbuckers would mix well with these in an hss Strat?
There's several great options but the Holydiver is a favourite of ours in an HSS config!

When Yngwie changed from the HS3/4, he should have gone for these!
But the hum
いいね!
Does somebody know what are the pedals involved to make this sound ? Dod 250 ? Fender YJM ? Other ?
It's a Marshall JCM800 and a RYRA Klone pedal!
@@BKPickupsIs he using 280k pots as well?
