When your drummer rejects to use triggers or samples for summing to the kick and snare, show him this presentation. It's difficult to catch up the kick on the double runs and the drummer won't keep a rimshot on every single strike. Maybe there was no beater mic, also. Still, just with a beater simulation, things could have gone better in the mixdown. Is a shame cause the interpretation of the band was freaking badass! SX is amazing!
I love this band on record. Russell's voice is always great live, but everything else is so jumbled because the tempo is always off... none of the songs groove live. Rullo just ruins it. Super frustrating.

In fact, Symphony X will always be held back by Romeo's lazyness and lack of motivation. He lucked out with his Paradise Lost record and the Giagantour run, otherwise he would've been a complete nobody.
@@rorke47 Is that actually the reason? Always wished he would lose weight so we wouldn’t have an artist die early. And I generally agree, overweight people are lazy usually. I don’t think that Romeo would be lazy musically AT ALL. He performs amazingly live every time and works hard to write and produce for the band.
