Thanks
Appreciate you sharing your Flyin' Miata Summer Camp 2022 experience. Looks like a lot of fun. Beautiful drive through Colorado mountains.
This was honestly such a fantastic video. So great to see the amazing scenery along with the awesome Miatas. Thank you for creating this video!! 😃😃
Always love your videos man.
You’re a great motivation/inspiration to drive mine more
Will drive from Montréal to tail of the dragon in 2 weeks in my supercharged NC3. Love your NC, ghost 👻!
Great job man, enjoyed your videos since day 1
love those canyon shots
Great video! I'm from Texas and you're right. My NC sits most of the time in the garage during Summer, with some short drives with only AC on. Fall, winter and spring best time for long drives around Texas hill country and far west Texas.
Summer Camp was fun. Maybe autocross next year.
Thanks for posting I very much enjoyed that. I've been to similar events over the years and always resent the ones that take you on dirt or dusty roads. Generally everyone is there with a detailed car and crummy roads like that are a bit disheartening. If you get a chance you really must try to make the Miatas at the Gap event. I've been going for over 20 years and in addition to good roads, food, etc. There are always 500-600 Miatas. But make your hotel reservations early! The 2023 event is Aug3-6. Thanks again and good driving!
I’ll see you there!
This turned out so well! That was such a fun weekend!
Nice vid! Love the NC adventures. Gotta take my NC on some nice drives too
I loved every minute of it. If I can, I'll see you there next year!
Great video, and awesome drone shots! FM Summer Camp was a blast
Love your vids, and your probably one of the reason why I bought a nc. I live in Montreal (seams you have a fan base here!) and I will drive mine during winter. Keep on filming!
I am on my fifth Miata [back to NC3] and NC is the best looker, best cruiser, best overall package. with new modern head unit, NC is truly the best and last roaster [simple and low cost to own]. only thing I miss from ND is the seat which is best of all generation. long distance drive can be pain requiring frequent fuel stops.
I so envy you guys..... I wanted to go this year for the first time but I couldn't get out of my work.. T0T
May be next year
Sweet vid, really enjoyed that, disappointed not to see a 25th anniversary there ( I'm biased😂) but still some lovely cars there. Wish we had something like that here in Ireland
Looks incredible I love mountains too but I've always lived in a ugly place(Houston, Texas) lol
beautifully done
does he have the BBR turbo kit in his ND?
Yes! I believe that's the one. I'll let him chime in if I'm wrong.
@@FlywheelFilms i have a 2019 RF Club and waiting for 50 state carb legal status as i live in California (slightly prefer bbr turbo vs edelbrock supercharger)
@@siddarthaone7355 hey I'm Luke! I dont think BBR will be offering a turbo kit for the ND2 that will be available stateside for a while unfortunately. Fab9 has a supercharger system available soon for the ND2!
@@lukeboustred4479 yeah i know about fab9’s work, but will it carb legal? 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 sad about bbr…well i guess n/a will keep me outta trouble hahahaha
Great video, man! Really enjoying your content! Regarding the Recaro's, the NC had them as an option in Europe so you could try to find a pair here and ship them to the US, 'cause they'll be plug and play.
This is such good content man, I love it
Just subbed because there isn't much NC content on TH-cam. I don't take my NC1 on long road trips because of the uncomfortable seats. Might have to try the Purple cushion! I've already added padding to my seat which helps but is not great. All Miata owners want more power but at what cost and reliability?
Heck yeah man this looks like a time ! No overheating issues on a 95* day?
No overheating! This thing is a tank.
12:03 you broke the rules 😢 mx5’s have to park together
I just recently finished fitting ND seats in my NC1 actually! Tbh, I'd say stick with the NC seats lol. If they pop up and you get a chance to snag those Recaros then id go through the trouble, but let me tell you.. it was not easy 😅 It's rare as shit but there are factory Recaros NC seats out there somewhere. (Mostly in Japan though)
The NC recaros are my dream! Saw some in Germany too. I think getting them stateside would be quite the expense
Why did you lend him a seat cushion? Are the Recaro seats bad in long drives?
He's not a fan for long stints. I love them, but to each their own! I'd love to find Recaro for the NC.
I have only watched 5 mins of your video and already got confused twice...
Why do you want bigger wheels and tires on a small nimble car? Watch EngineerExplains channel who clearly explains to people the Ford Mustang and Miata has exactly the same ratio of wheels compared to the weight. 9J wide wheels will kill everything this car is all about your acceleration literally drops by 1.5s too top end as well....
Another thing why did you leave the top up???
What is the point of having a Miata then??? Dude I have crossed Europe multiple time with my mk3 and mk4 NEVER EVER did it with the top being on...
8 inch wide wheels are great on the NC. Sure, people go with 9 or even 10 inch, extending lateral grip further especially if they have more power to drive said wheels. But after extensive research and trial, 8 inch is perfect for me.
I leave the top down 95% of the time, even through winter. But it was a very hot day so I tried to keep it up to spare me a bit of sun-time for the rest of the day, which was entirely in the sun!
