I get so immersed in these videos sometimes that I forget I'm watching a video. Like, sometimes, when he plays a minion, and I don't remember what it does, I hover over it with my mouse, wondering why the text doesn't show up. I'm not a smart man.
Btw, this tavern brawl is really cool. Like you said in the beginning. I played a totem Shaman deck myself and it just dominated :D

I like having this recommended to me 7 years later, I remember playing hearthstone with my friends in school, a real blast from the past!
I really hate the shield they put on the heros face. It looks so, well, out of place.

For this tavern brawl, I literally copy pasted my ladder Midrange Druid list and went undefeated for 7 games in a row. Turns out having your opponent be unable to protect himself from combo, and having more spare minions left on the board to Savage Roar, is preeety good. It also helps that Darnassus Aspirant has a higher life expectancy.

I love his comment at the start of the first clip; "Going 2nd is a pretty big advantage I think.", Then what looks to be like 30 minutes later, in the second clip; "Going 2nd seems a bit broken in a lot of cases." lol.

This tavern brawl was just facetard paradise......
A surprise MVP for my decks was Ogre Brute. I imagine my opponents were surprised because out of all the other cards I played Ogre Brute was the most likely to be silenced. 50% of the time it would hit one of the opponents minions and rarely ever seemed to die to them.
And you know I'm all about that armor, that armor so animated.

i just wanted to share my experience with a really nice combo using a warlock deck during this tavern brawl.
the combo consist in getting brann bronzebeard, ancient watcher and void terror and a traditional giant deck for back up, it was literally insane to see the early 14 / 14 or greater by using power overwhelming. The sad thing is that there were too many hunter face, frost mages and mech rouges.
Grim patron and control warrior were both really good. They have a bunch of removal and either bulk or do patron things respectively.
Inner Fire Priest OP in this game mode!

Nothing is true. My animated armor + double Wee spellstopper + Illuminator deadlocks anything. Lightbomb>duplicate the armor play one.

Awe Kripp, this is one of the first brawls i actually enjoy as, Ive been grinding every week to gain coins to complete LOE, and finally get a card that helps make a decent deck. And yes I roll with Animated armor

I loved this tavern brawl! I haven't played one face deck but I played spell damage brann decks. One of my favorites

ive been using a tempo mage in this tavern brawl. Its surprisingly effective and i win 80% of the time, its great for dealing with enemy minions whilst putting control on the board. I got a surprising 27 wins with it.
I also played shaman, but with windfury and magma/ice ragers, in this format they actually work pretty good

health buffpriest with shades and geblin stalkers, lightwells was hilarious and effective this tavern brawl. Most opponents just conceded when the shade was around 10 health without me playing divine blessings or inner fires. And priest can have tonnsss of removal with exaccated evil, smites, and shade words
Thunderbluff Valiant is such an inspiring card. Those totems can do anything, and so can you! Be the Kripperino you want to be~
Even the art of the healing totem is mad as fuck,I knew he was plotting something.
I had an awesome time with druid, winning 10 out of 12 games. Savage Combatant + Garrison Commander was the star of the show.
So you've pointed out that Tavern Brawls are kind of a peak into what's to come. Do you think that in the next expansion they're going to print cards that give your hero taunt? If they did that would make for interesting constructed play.

This tavern brawl proved why Shaman Totems need help. Either stealth or more HP.
playing oil rogue is the dream here, no taunts to worry about and can just smash face a tonne.

My control mage crushed any face deck I ever encountered.
I like aggro, control, midrange, anything. I like the game :)
I never lose in this brawl with my healer priest deck
I love this tavern brawl. I played a full healing priest. The ogre is good for removal 50% of the time. I love Baron Gadon... as usual.
I had a lot of fun with all the Priest cards that buff attack whenever you heal.
I had some amazing matches with Mogor the Ogre forcing my opponent to trade poorly. Finally found a use for the guy.
I've been having a lot of fun with Priest, using Lightwell and Lightwarden effects.
So Spectral Knight and Fairy Dragon are basically invulnerable. Also, that Mage card that gives adjacent minions spell and hero power immunity is amazing.
The Priest deck I did for this brawl was unstoppable. No one ever expected the double tournament medic infinite heal. FATIGUE PRIEST? I THINK YES
That ultimate greed play :D
How to destroy a game:
1- Pick warlock
2- Voidcaller into Malganis.
3- GG
then they can target your minions. becoming immune loses your taunt.

Murloc shaman was very funny to play. I had turn 4-5 lethal sometimes, with the right starting hand.

Nope, Crackle is a 2 mana 1 overload shitty spell that always deal 3 damages. Worst card in the game if you ask me

I did a priest deck with a lightwarden, holy champion, lightspawn, circle heal, etc. Super good. I think the most effective deck is enrage warrior though, with amani beserker, worgen, and frothing
I seem to be the only one playing Mal'Ganis (With Demonheart and Faceless Manipulator), like "Fuck off, all who would do harm to my beautiful face!"

I made a mage deck with aggro cards and a few spells like draw and freeze most of which where the base cards and it worked really well for me.
priest and druid were brutal in this
I ran an Alarm - o - bot Maly, Rag deck as a mage. it worked great
This brawl was fine for F2P players, I made a basic only mage deck, which works pretty well. That being said, animated armor makes your TB deck much better.

Things good in this TB: Shamans, mages, and hunters. THE AGGRO ONES.
are those totems the 0/3 police?
I played against a pretty interesting shaman deck. Not sure if it works. I won against it with my pretty standard mage deck. But it definitely seemed interesting:
Shaman:
- Super draw heavy deck
- Emperor Thaurissan
- Ancestor's Call
- Malygos
All these Kripperinos are gonna make me rich!
So, this brawl is indistinguishable from normal play for any meta mage deck, right? Just use spells and Doomsayers to clear every minion that so much as touches the board with its little toe while whittling down your opponent.
My Murlocadin deck ended up working pretty well for this Tavern Brawl

yeah i don't get it, it was like constructed but everyone magically agreed to not run mass clear or tons of removal, usually won by running double flame strike lol
This brawl was a lot of fun for a few hours, but man when everyone was rocking animated armor tempo mage it just got depressing as a F2Player
I played a tournament medic, lightweight otk priest. Didn't loose a single game, out healed the face chumps.
Yeah, the great thing about those totems was they added another vector for Bloodlust. You could deal with a lot of things with just Earth and Frost shock, and with just totems, windfury, and that nanobot.

You should try out Murloc shaman with some windfury additions. Usually I win by turn 4-5, so Flamestrike was never a problem.
This tavern brawl might have been saturated with Mages, but where else are you gonna see Totem Shaman vs Pirate Rogue?
I found Ogre Warmaul to be amazing. Lost count of how many animated armours I've killed from RNG
I thought of something. What if you run one animated armor in spare part tempo mage? When you get a stealth you can just stealth the AA. Thoughts?

So my experience with this brawl: I knew I didn't have the cards for anything decent, so I figured I'd play a crappy facehunter for my free pack. Face is the place afterall!
....only, I didn't realize you started with 40 health. And I queued up against a priest.
Fortunately, it was a combo priest, and I managed to silence his Lightspawn (with a spellbreaker mind you).
So in summary: Face is actually NOT the place in this brawl
24:48 He traded his Flametongue Totem into a minion but the rogue didn't have any type of immunity to allow it, am I missing something? On second thought, I guess other taunt minions are fair game, I only played once, got my pack & left.
Malganis or Animated Armor and a lot o Spellpower minions and win.
+Denis Cavalcanti Martins Mal'ganis would make it so that they can attack minions. Though that's not inherently a bad thing.
I played a shaman murloc deck with a few lava bursts, crackle and earthshock in it. Atm I'm 15:2 with this deck, only lost against priest with the 2x lightwell in play shenanigans..
Almost all of the games I rekt them by turn 4-5
i went with mech rogue, its not very consistent but steel sinsei is fun when your opponents can't kill it easily
The Healing Totem transformed into the Totem of Doom.
I love the Shaman deck there #Kripparrian . I replaced some cards for much better game play. took out 1 micro machine, 1 hex, and elemental destruction for 1 bloodmage thalnos, 1 earthshock, and 1 doomsayer! works better I believe
I got my one and only win with my Rogue Pirate deck, it was working well with Ships Cannon to deal with alot of low drop aggro minions
@Kripparrian so you don't think a priest deck was worth mentioning here? i won almost all the games i played with inner fire combos pre lvl 10.
