Was able to talk my wife into moving Texas, now, I’ve just got to find about 10 to 15 acres of land in your operating area. Your Barndo builds, are by far, the best I’ve ever seen. So much attention to the details. Love the large open concept, that these Barndo’s allow you to accomplish. Looking forward to the updates on this Barndo. 👍
Insanely good looking brother and super amazing crew you got there, easy to see no corners being cut, quality craftsmen building quality construction. Would like to see this completed
This is exactly how I want my build except have it horizontal with a long driveway up to the middle part, the big open living area with sliding glass doors that lead to the patio/pool area. And a master bed/bath that'll take up the whole left side lol. I wonder if steel framing is cheaper than wood framing?
Josh, I enjoy watching your builds. I’m an architect, in the DFW area, that designs both residential as well as light commercial buildings, and plan on building our home in the Hill Country. I’m seriously considering steel frame either with either wood or metal studs. My design is similar to this house in Lucas, , both in length and depth, but with a 45 degrees angle on one end. Two questions: 1. Why don’t you frame the exterior studs at 24” o.c. to achieve better insulation value? And. 2. Why not frame with metal studs? If metal, the BLDG would then be non-combustible as well as insect and termite resistant.
I’m looking for someone to design a 40 acre industrial “Makers Market” park with an RV camping near the rear of the property. Do you do this sort of work or know someone who may be able to?
@@nrolled2888 i retired and shut down my architectural firm after 38 years in business, as of 18 months ago. What State are you planning on building in? I may know of someone you can contact.
@@txarchdroneguy4731 Congrats on the retirement. I hope it yields plenty of fish on your line. We’re looking to build within 20-30 miles of Fredericksburg. We’re contractors and need someone to put our ideas on paper. Thanks!
Anyone know of any barndo builders in GA? This is home is the same length that we've had in mind. Building on 22 acres. Trying to find a builder that knows about barndominiums is hard
He answered this on a podcast. He said that he has never built the same barndo twice because each one is custom. I guess the home owners own the blueprint rights. Look up his podcast. He only has like 4 episodes.

When you put on the Zip system on those 2x6 studs. How do you hold the metal sheathing from it coming off? What self tapping screws do you use
Metal to wood tap or Similar like roofs
I need to buy some land already... lol
Is this a steel kit or a custom build?
