My closet and drawers and decluttered and minimal...but I still love hearing the message to let the stuff we don't need/wear/hurt/don't fit go. It's like a little serotonin dump in my brain because it reminds me how much better it feels to have let that stuff go.

Navy is my substitute for Black. It’s much kinder to an older woman’s complexion. The late British designer, Jean Muir, said so!! 👍🥰‼️

A couple of years ago I took sentimental clothing ~ sweaters from my dad, fresh handkerchiefs he often carried, sweatshirts that belonged to my mom, her wedding dress, sweaters from my teenage years, and my wedding dress)etc, etc) and had them made into a quilt that I will treasure forever. Only partial pieces of each article were used - the remainder of the clothing was tossed after. The only exception to that was that I kept silk sleeves from my mom’s wedding gown and lace from my gown. When our daughter got married I had the silk and lace inlaid into a bracelet for her to wear that day 💜. I am forever thankful to have these small portions of the sentimental pieces without all of the clutter of keeping it all!! HOWEVER, it took several years for me to get to an emotional place where I could do that after my parents had passed! Give yourself time and grace in these instances!!

A while back, I went to declutter my shoes and found that several of the shoes had deteriorated due to the humidity in my closet 😮. That was an easy fix. 😂 But I did get rid of the others that were uncomfortable. I’m not a shoe person and every pair I own now have a purpose ❤. As for my clothes , I have my favorites, but get so sick of what I have. Ugh. However, we are on a strict budget right now so unless it’s absolutely necessary, nothing comes into that closet. 😂. But I pray, my diet of losing 25 pounds will get me back into some old clothes. (Down 7 pounds now, 17 to go 😊), Winter clothes I do not like will definitely hit the road. You are such inspiration and I just your love your personality, the motivation you have given me and your videos. They never cease to help me. 🙏 Thank you !!❤
I have found I have tend to wear a lot of navy colored clothes also. It looks flattering and looks good in any season!

I have hoarder tendencies and I’m learning to declutter. I’ve just stated doing this with my clothing but I can’t throw out a jumpers that were knitted by my Mother and Grandmother, I’m not at that stage just yet BUT I love decluttering now and never thought I would ever be happy to see anything leave ☺️
My mother threw out a little "fisherman's sweater" she knit for my brother when he was a toddler. I wish she hadn't all these 50+ years later. You don't have to declutter those... Yet or ever. 🤗 Given that, kudos on decluttering! Keep going on into freedom!

Great video as always! I can't remember if you said it but I try to declutter clothes that doesn't complement the person I am today. Sometimes clothes no matter how nice and pretty etc can take you back to a time you´ve evolved from or to a bad time in your life.

I need to revisit my closet, I hear talking about things to let go of and I am thinking, oh I have those I can let go and so on 🤣My husband gets swag from work every so often and no one in the household will wear it. Have to declutter because I live in a one bath and one bedroom house.
I decluttered all synthetic and synthetic blend clothes. Peri/Menopause/Post...it makes a big difference. And I finally treated myself to some nice hangers and my closet looks so nice. So now, that's my container...one in one out because I'm not going to buy an entire pack of hangers.

I have many multiples because I'm fussy, and if I find something I really like, when it goes on sale, I'll buy several, sometimes several of different colors. Of course, I don't keep them all in my closet; I store the extras in labeled plastic bins with dessicant packets. I never pay full price. When I buy extras, the price is 50% to 90% off. Shoes, tops, and jeans are where I buy extras because that's my uniform. I also have three big cats with claws, and they've ruined many an item in a flash by getting a claw hooked into it. With multiples on hand, I don't feel like it's a disaster every time it happens. I spent 60 years of my life being scared of having something stained or get a hole or rip, and now I'm in a position where I can ensure that's not a problem.

Hmmm. I definitely need to purge my closet of clothes that don’t fit or that I don’t like. But I do need to find some stuff that actually fits. This reminds me to go to the closet and pull out some of my least favorites (well, the ones that I hate the most)! 😊

My swag is my health workers Union water bottle and windscreen shade I kept and hand sanitizer, I gave up the cup and umbrella and lunch box to donation
I went to my closet and decluttered 2 pairs of sandals that won't be there till next summer!

If Lulu clothing gets damaged take it back!!!! They will give you a new one if you go to the right store… if they don’t take it, go to a different store! Especially if it’s something that they always have like zip ups or leggings.

Nope ! Not navy for light spring/ fair blondes! Clear bright blue such as cobalt or peacock is WAY better for me! By by navy, gray,black🎉🎉
