    Thank you Josh
This is definitely my next upgrade for my 3 Preformance.
    Couple small questions for ya.
What is the lead time for you to prepare and ship your kit for a model 3?
Also do you get any funky rattle with the 12in firing right up at the stock trunk pannel?
Thank you very much for your install video. Very straight forward. I was really curious as to where you are tapping in to get your signal.

Nice! Ok the boxes and beauty panel are already made, we normally keep a dozen of those amps in stock so as long as we have the woofers in stock we can ship in 1 day. And no rattle when that trunk panel is down in fact you I haven’t even noticed a difference in bass when the panel is on or off.
As far as the Signal, we tap off factory 8” woofer.
Thanks for the comment! And we look forward to your order!

Great Video. It’s good to see you putting out knowledge on how to add bass to a Tesla. I’m thinking of adding subs to my 2022 MP3. I have 2 JL Audio 12TW-4 that I’m going to make a box for. I was wondering if the Diamond Audio MICRO2V1 would work for my install?

You could use that but that amp is 1 ohm stable so you get the full output at 1 ohm. If you have a pair of 4 ohms then you’ll be running it at 2 ohms and that amp does 300 watts at 2 ohms. If you have the 12tw1-4 those need 300 watts RMS so a 600 watt amp is best. You could look at the Alpine S2-A60M. That’s 600 watts RMS at either 1 or 2 ohm and will work on 16 volt systems.

@@BreakersStereo Thank you for your response. I forgot the woofers were single 4 ohm. I'll look into the Alpine amp. Thank you for the info.

Where would I get the remote signal from or would the amp automatically recognize it?

How does the amp like the 16V feed?, I guess it is within specs, but a tad on the high side?

Man, so much taking apart of panels, I would be concerned about damage to the interior and that everything was put back perfectly.

“I heard” is not a good reason to do or not do something. There is absolutely no reason to go through the firewall instead of using the battery connection under the seat.

What I heard from the techs at Mosconi is when they tested their amp upgrade for the 16 volt teslas with the under the seat connection it drained the accessory battery and as soon as they switched the connection to the under the hood battery it was fine. So that’s enough for me. If anyone has any experience with using the connection under the seat on a 16volt Tesla let us know! I’ve seen lots of videos where guys use that under the seat connection on 12volt Teslas so that seems to work out fine. Also this was a 7 seater so getting to that connection under the seat is super tough vs the 5 seater where the lower seat just pops up. Thanks for the comment, I was thinking of mention where I got the info from so thanks for bring it up!

@@BreakersStereo Which makes no sense because it's just the 12V connection. It's like in a car with the battery in the trunk and the jumper tabs under the hood. You could also run a switched 12v connection from the driver's kick panel connection for the tow hitch. There's a $4 harness you can get form Tesla and one of the 4 wires in it is switched 12v. PAC has some interfacing parts as well and I'm pretty sure one of them can pull switched 12v from the CAN-BUS.
Yeah, the 7-seater makes everything more difficult. I might have done it the same way you did in that case too

@@paulvina1974 I did my install from the front battery and had banging bass for a few months then it started to fade and fade and I'd check the voltage of the front battery in service mode and I compared it with my friend's Tesla and he had 2-3v more than me. So out it went and on to the connection under the seat, INSTANTLY bass was restored. I have a switched connection that is relayed from the centre arm console right behind the rear air vent, you tap into that and it'll go on and off with the car! But we got some errors in the service menu and my friend found a solution himself on how to negate that and I'm in the process of fixing it myself.
There is a guy named Matt Scheaffur on youtube (if thats how you spell his last name), and he does custom Tesla installs and he's a penny pincher and gatekeeps the proper method behind a paywall of i think $120 USD!!! like???

@@Delarockyso a couple questions because I’m really curious.
      1. do you also have a 16V Tesla?
      2. how long did you have the bass system install until you noticed the bass decreasing?
      3. How big of an amp did you run? What’s the make and model or do you know off hand how many amps it draws?
I’ve had my Tesla system install for over 2 months and I haven’t had any issues with it. The amp in this system draws only about 20 amps. I appreciate the comment and your response will really help out. Thanks in advance

      @@BreakersStereo 1. Yes
      2. Starting from July 2023 till the middle of December 2023, so 5 months. Not sure If it was entirely the front batteries fault, but I did have a bad ground, but on the penthouse I now have a good ground using OEM ground.
      3. I'm using right now a JX500/1D, at 300W, maybe in the next 2-3 months you'll see a decline in power? Obviously not what we want but I don't want your little battery to make you stranded.
Side note: I have an accessory battery connected to the penthouse and I have zero errors now for a month, and might upgrade to 1500w
