Love NKOTB, they are great to the fans. They're still selling out arenas and putting out awesome music. I have no words to really describe what they mean to me. Music is individual and it supposed to connect and make you feel. Their music has gotten me through some really tough times.

I have been to almost 20 concerts (in 8 states) and 2 of their cruises since they came back in 2008! I camped out on the streets outside of the Today Show when they performed for the first time, and literally cried when they took the stage. I'm a PROUD Blockhead! This song is one of my favorites!

Boyz II Men have been an opening act for them on at least 2 of those tours ... Nelly & TLC did as well (2/3 of TLC, obviously), Lady Gaga collaborated with them before she was huge (she was an opening act as well), Salt N Pepa & Naughty By Nature toured with them as recently as 2019. Y’all should find another of their recent songs to do ... try Twisted, or Click Click Click 😉

BTW NKOTB had 10 songs hit the Billboard R&B /Hip Hop singles chart with "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)" being their biggest on that chart!! Alot of people dont know that!! Anyways they still sellout arenas now!!
All the guys are "straight" except Jonathan Knight. He has now come out and discussed how difficult it was for him being in a boy band and hiding his sexuality. He was told by his managers to keep it quiet or his career would be ruined. I'm glad he is out and happily living his best life being who he is and still accepted by the band and the fans. He is still touring with the group today.

NKOTB was my very first concert. All the girls I knew was crushing on Donnie Wahlberg, while I thought he was cute, my crush was Jordan Knight.
I always had a soft spot for Danny as well, I think because he didn't really have many females crushing on him. Made me feel bad for him. I've always been one to gravitate towards the outcasts, unpopular, and underdogs.

Jordan is Jon's brother, Danny, Donnie & Joey and they all supported Jonathan when he came out. And now they are tighter more so even now in 2022. NKOTB came out in 1984 and were my first boy band crush. And they sound amazing even today.

They were formed as the white version of New Edition, all from Boston and had the same producer in the early 80’s. 3 out of 5 were b-boys / breakdancers in their early years. And yes, 1 is gay ... still all love. They came out in 1985-6 ... and finally hit the charts in 1988-89!
I heard the rumors growing up but always thought they were started by guys jealous that girls liked them or guys that didn't think "Temptation like" moves were macho enough. In reality, only one was gay and the rest went off to marry women and have families. There were also lip syncing rumors that they addressed on Arsenio and Awards shows. I like them more for their uphill battle. They always stayed humble and positive while growing as entertainers. I'm proud that I'm still a blockhead attending their sold out arenas to this day. Lesser men would have caved with the pressures they faced at such a young age.
