I knew I needed to get the hang of full barre chords. Very tedious until I found this lesson. Now I have bucketloads of motivation to barre away until my wrist falls off. The song and your lessons are infectious, riveting and addictive. Thank you so much, Graeham
Well I hope your wrists stand up to the test Graham, because learning barre chords is more than worthwhile and will open up bucketloads of songs to you! Best of luck to you....
Thank you for your support Lauren. In answer to your question, I suspect it will be folks who can already play reasonably well but are looking for a short video showing them how to play a particular song. Short attention span is one of the unfortunate consequences of new technologies I'm sad to say.
After i discover your lessons in you tube, i saw the Hard rain´s gonna fall, i start to see all. Very gooooooooooood :-) really. I play guitar but most of the tabs i see on the web are wrong, something miss, well you know. Thanks for the time spend to show the songs. Cheers from Portugal.
Thank you for your support - I've not seen it, but please try again and I'll approve it (if I can figure out how.... the feature doesn't seem to work anymore on my videos!)
Thanks Jim, I like this version a lot. I like the barre chord version as well, but this really sounds nice. Oh, and thanks again for the "Steppin" help.
Thank you very much Pedro; considerable time and effort go into producing my tutorials but I try to cover everything thoroughly and it is made more worthwhile thanks to people like you who respond so nicley. Thank you again, and very good luck with your playing!
Hi Jim video response doesn't seem to work for me here is a link, hopefully! lay lady lay glh only slightly different to yours but much the same, thanks again for the lesson Glenn
could u match the chords with the lyrics in some way so i can play & read the lyrics/chords at the same time? im pretty much an amature at best on the guitar but i'd love to play this
Yep - good way to play it; I think it works better than barre chords, but then I think what works for electric guitars may not be appropriate for acoustics. Very good luck with this great Dylan classic, and thank you for your support!
My tutorials are detailed, structured and progressive from Beginner, through Intermediate to Advanced. They are organised in such a way as to enable learners to find the appropriate sections to suit their individual needs. They are intended for adults who are serious about learning the guitar properly; they are not suited to individuals with short attention spans or who are in need of some magical "quick-fix". My approach works, and is successful Bob. Having looked at your videos (including one appropriately titled: "fiddlin' around") I would say they are exactly what you need my friend, but please feel free to search for others that may better suit your attitude and approach to the rigours of learning professionally. Good luck in your quest for the Holy Grail of guitar-tutoring!
The great organization you have in your videos is something that most tutorials on TH-cam severely lack. Much respect
Thank you very much for your kind words, and very good luck with this great song Chase!

As a relative newcomer to guitar and a big Dylan fan, this is perfect. It's concise and well thought out. Thank you!

He's giving his own free time to help other musicians. What's your contribution, a snide comment.
