Improvise before I I watched this video. I JUST USED A CLOTH AND CHANNEL LOCK PIPE WRENCH. Put it on it's most leverage channel lock position And I just squeezed with my hand and it worked perfectly.. Don't have to buy anything FYI You don't have to leave that screw thing on after you compressed it. After I used my channel locks with a cloth It It stayed that way It didn't spring back. ;)
The zoom post uses a different rail mounting system. What you would be using is either the cloud 9 or Lectric original rail mounting section pieces as the mounting tool as shown in the video.
Wow thanks for the tip, I was struggling with my seat constantly creaking as well
Awesome solution!! I was just struggling with a Cloud 9 seat and a DJC Suspension seatpost, you just made my day!
What a great tip ! Thank you for posting. Made the job easy.
Just saved me so much frustration, thank you!
Nice discovery. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the tip. I was wondering how I was going to get that done!! Great tip!!!👍👍
Very smart solution to the problem. Keep up the great work man, smart thinking.
Your smart. That easily did the adjustment. Thank you
great minds think alike! I went with this method after finding out the rails were too wide for the clamps.
This is an amazing tip thank you it worked!!
Great video on install.

Seem one should not have to do this. Why are the rails so WIDE???
Thanks for the video! I have the same problem. I we try this
My comfort seat arrived today with the post already attached from Lectric.
Generally, this applies to the Zoom seatpost and Cloud 9 or other aftermarket seats. The Lectric comfort combo has a different mounting system.
Thanks 😀👍
You said included with lectric seat post? That is included with the c9 saddle right?

thank u
Thank you. Actually I'm not happy with the seat. Not convinced the rigid heavy springs do provide any benefit. They don't move at all.
I agree with you 100 per cent. I can’t find any information on the sprig adjustment to soften it up a little. Useless the way it is.
Thanks
