Thanks for the short showcase, sadly there isn't much coverage on the L13 on TH-cam. One suggestion though, filming horizontally would make more use of the screen space.
What is the screen wobble like on this when you're typing? I like the idea of yoga devices, but I type a lot so the screen wobble can be really distracting on a lot of them
Are the thinkpad series reliable? I was thinking about getting the l13 i7 for heavy excel usage. I saw my friend once had it and he told me he liked it a lot, but how are the thinkpads in general and do they have a long life expectancy?
Thinkpads make good buisness machines and I've seen very few problems with the 200 or so I sold. Gaming laptops are however completely different and require much better cooling than a business machine. I would always recommend a gaming PC rather than a laptop just because of the heat and the fact that that will kill components. Some gaming laptop designs are made better than others but thats a model by model choice rather than a range.
As the keyboard is well spaced , you can sit closer to the machine which doesn't make the 13.3" size a problem. The clarity of the screen is also important when you have smaller screen, which top end machines generally have. If you are using the laptop for longer periods I would recommend a wireless mouse set, such as a logitech mk270 and a big external screen. Office users can buy docking stations to allow this setup to be connected easily as well.
@@PhilErringtonSK7 Thanks for the reply ❤️, i'm planning to buy l13 , i don't know which screen is good and which is bad 😅 , is l13 have a good screen , can i go with it , and does this laptop has any other issue .
@@vishalkhedekar6573 look for an IPS screen these are brighter and clearer than TN panels which have a shimmer if you look at them from an angleand dont show colours as well. The price difference between a cheaper laptop and a more expensive is usually the materials and screen even when specs seem similar.
@Tony Video players, including youtube, are hardware accelerated hence consumes little power. Nowadays,it is news sites with heavy java script powered ads that kills battery

Thanks for the review, is that laptop the 1080 ips version?
how much ram can you put the maximum?
hows the battery life
What about L13 20r30004sp ?
On what is the Red button ?
It's a trackpoint
It's like a spare mouse for use if ur trackpad or mouse is not working
No ethernet connection?
has a specialadapter connector but was no special net socket in box. A usb (3) stick should work.
Is 13.3 inch screen so small ? Plz reply

May you take a look at some other videos to at least get basic right !
Is it backlit keyboard...???
It is!
It’s $35 extra to get the backlit keyboard.. not all models come with it.
Is that a IR camera one? Thanks. 👍
I dont think the one we have tried has an IR camera, its a standard model.
I smell like rotten eggs.
how is the battery life?
I got ~4 to 4.5 hours on average use (i7 version) i5 ones might consume less power. And it's charged bloody fast (if you have Rapid Charge feature )
@@charliepooh568 oh that's disappointing. what does your average usage consist of? Thanks for the reply
Sam Kemp wow! I was expecting 10-14hrs!
