Roberto is an inspirational bass player, both for me as a longtime player and hopefully for some of the young musicians watching this great talent for the first time. And it doesn’t hurt that he is playing some great sounding P-basses!
Had the opportunity to stop into Norms around Thanksgiving and there were sadly only a few basses in store. These here are something I’d have a hard time leaving without.
Michael, we already know that he is nothing but awesome!! The bass player was equally awesome too. I don't know him, lots of people I don't know by name but wow. Didn't matter what he could adapt, not nominally but with extraordinary precision. I could listen to these two for days. Wow!!!
Lefty thumb rest on the 63? Roberto took the 63 out to jam, cut to him holding the 64,lol......63 lefty thumb rest on a right hand bass. Just observing 😊
I absolutely love Roberto’s playing. He is the ideal session base player. He and Michael playing together is sheer bliss.
I love that he plays with such a big smile ❤
Roberto.....you have great feel for sure.🎸👍
Great jamming and thumping!

This Roberto is a top-notch Pro player. This guy can play any genre, and I would love to see him and Tim Pierce do a jam together,

This made my day! A bass player's Player. Love the disco funk 2nd part, and great to see Roberto just fly into it. He is in his element.

Roberto V! What a great part on that track. Excellent

Roberto seasons a song like a great chef seasons basic food.

Good lord that 2nd bass and the performance were insane. Jesus Christ what a sound!!!! Can I have it? 😅
That Murphy LP has the magic. I think it’s the same one ML played on GOTD last week.
Guy on bass enjoyed that 😅
I had a 1963 white precision bass
Roberto all PRO player on great P Basses.
What makes the older guitars lighter? Is it different Wood used? Or does the wood dry out ?
That bass line is very close to A Taste of Honey, Boogie Oogie Oogie
Roberto is great and the lady sax player is no slouch
👍✌❤😎
Norm I don’t mind the ads but can you please put them at the end of a song/jam rather than in the middle?
What is the name of the Japanese saxophonist?
63 is the year forget the rest lol
