Product Enterprise were knocking it out of the park at this time with every Gerry Anderson release a fantastic model - Skydiver and Stingray being my personal faves. The re-releases of the Shado Mobile, Interceptor and UFO (not sure if the Eagle Transporter models currently available are re-releases as I neglected to be the originals!!!) were quite expensive. Always disappointed that they decided to stop the diecast range before releasing the promised Irwin Allen Flying Sub and Spindrift 😢😢😢

I think SKY1 was made with more plastic to save weight, as it has to join up and be held purely by it's engines--- if it was heavy this wouldn't last long!

shame the decals arent very accurate as in the series the diver had diver and the plane had sky on it so when they were connected it read skydiver and as the plane took off it left the diver on the diver and sky on the plane. apart from that it looks amazing shame there wasn't anything like this when I was a kid. I was born in 65. I did have a interceptor which came out in about 1969/1971

Yes, that is one of the errors they made, but still a superb set. If only sixteen 12 would do a new one, that would be awesome!!
