Perrin is named after stones in English and Japanese, not a plant like every other character. And considering we see her photograph Sudowoodo in the trailer, I'd guess that she only takes pictures of Rock-types. I'm guessing that her quest leads up to getting Diancie. A Gen VI Mythical catchable in Gen IX DLC makes sense with Gen VIII DLC having had a catchable Gen V Mythical in Keldeo. Watch this mystery champion character is Ash from the show. As I've suggested under other videos discussing possible upcoming games, I believe they might be making a Gold/Silver prequel game, as well as a Black 2/White 2 sequel game. I do not feel this would be unrealistic, as the Pokémon Company has been making a lot of changes to the releases in recent years. I might be dead wrong, however I feel that this may be strongly the case, especially due to the release of the (Dino) Beasts in Scarlet and (Cyber) Swords of Justice in Violet. One game pointing to the past and the other aiming for the future. Third, I'd like to partially agree with another comment I saw, about the mysterious potential Pokémon (possibly) being Celebi. Whether Irida is Perrin's other ancestor or not, it could be possible. The evidence given makes sense. (Especially with the theme based around time.) However, I'm hoping for a new Pokémon altogether, though this might not be the case. Fourth, I'd like to push the Imagined Pokémon towards the spotlight, as we discuss the Hidden Treasure. Though, I do not believe them to be the Treasure, I do believe they are, in fact, separate Pokémon from the trios. The Imagined Pokémon, might be their own group of Pokémon, such as Ultra Beasts and Paradox Pokémon. The Imagined Pokémon are explained to be the sketch artist's imagination of what other Pokémon might exist in Area Zero. Although, I don't believe it's simply their imagination, or at least, that they won't remain their imagination. I think, it's possible that the Hidden Treasure will have something to do with an introduction of these Pokémon, if not be these Pokémon themselves. This is all speculation of course. Finally, I'd like to talk about the Hidden Treasure itself. I doubt, we'll actually guess it, but I'm going to suggest some possibilities. Every game tends to have a trio of main Legendaries. This officially started in gen 3, however I personally count gen 2, Suicune was put on the cover of Pokémon Crystal. (Yes, even though it's apart of a "lesser" trio.) Gen 1 technically also follows this rule, if you remember that Mewtwo is a clone and was only recently created in the original games' storyline. Past is represented by Koraidon and future is represented by Miraidon. It feels clear that we're missing a legendary. I refuse to believe it's one of the DLC main legendaries, as they don't make sense to their theme. However, i believe it might be a present version of Cyclizar (or Imagined?). I also have theories about the time machine in Area Zero. But I can't quite put all the pieces together. I read about something with "overlapping hexagons", which unless there was a typo, Terapagos makes no sense for the "Indigo Disc", described in the books, despite its part of the DLC being literally called that. Terapagos is covered in oddly shaped pentagons. The only hexagon is in the dead center of it's shell. The time machine, however, evidently is filled with hexagons. And, they overlap one another perfectly. The books said it was unclear if it was even alive. Terapagos is CLEARLY alive, as the time machine is only semi-sentient, that we can tell. It's also important to mention, that the time machine shutdown upon the AI Professors traveling through them. Yet, it was clearly reactivated when we return after the credits. Who turned it on? (Briar?) Is it remote controlled? (Someone from the past? From the future?) Is it alive? Is a Pokémon, after all? Is it actually a time machine? (Does it simply mass produce artificial Pokémon, similar to Mewtwo? Probably not, but it could be a possibility.) Okay, the thing about Mewtwo was a tad unhinged, however, the sudden reintroduction of Mew and Mewtwo is quite intriguing, especially since the time machine creating artificial Pokémon was a theory of mine before they revealed the DLC. (It felt far fetched back then too.) Although, I doubt they would introduce Pokémon they never planned on bringing life to. Plus, both versions look like Scarlet Paradoxes. So, it's kinda odd a semi-ancient looking Pokémon might appear in the version based around the future. I don't have a definitive theory on the Hidden Treasure, although one last thing does come to mind, when talking about it. The two items we see the protagonists with in the new anime, could potentially be the Hidden Treasure, or at the very least, connect to the Teal Mask and Indigo Disc legendaries which the Pokémon themselves will take new form and reveal the third main legendary of Scarlet and Violet. Again, everything mentioned in this comment is just speculation. However, I'd like to remind everyone, that Celebi was introduced with the mysterious G.S. Ball. And, I remember seeing a special ball as a special item in a main protagonist's hand. (Not a G.S. Ball, but definitely unique.) It's important to note that I have yet to see the actual anime, and only have information from that through pieces of social media, I've been trying to avoid spoilers on. The game I've played fully, and have taken plenty of notes. I cannot say any of my theories mentioned are correct, however I do believe some of them, such as the potential Past Johto and Future Unova games. I feel that specifically is very likely. Anyway, I hope everyone has a nice day/night. And, I also hope everyone's as excited as I am for the release of the first part of the DLC.
good god i just cannot wait for this dlc, every time something new for scarlet and violet is shown i gotta damn near choke back tears because scarlet and violet is everything ive ever wanted since i was a kid like 1999 when i first got pokemon red in the mail and the dlc just looks like its gonna make it even better. i cant wait for this.
Imagine if Brair turns out to be like Anabelle from the SM games, where she is from a different world. For Briar it could be that she is from the past or future or something like that.
I think that the final guy you mentioned might be Irida’s descendant. They cant present Adaman’s descendant and not Irida, she is his half! Hopefully it has a really cool team comparable to Nemona! I really do hope we get a new champion. But the one thing I hope they do is bring back Geeta with a new team to show her full capabilities as the best champion of Paldea.
The mystery character is not that big of a mystery, they are going to be the champion of the BB League, since the other characters we meet who are apart of it are referred to specifically as the BB League Elite Four. So what they are is fairly obvious, but it’s who they are is what’s going to be a mystery for a while.
You know I've been thinking from the DLC's announcement with Ogerpon, but what if it ISN'T a pokemon? I mean we all know the Teal Mask has the Momotaro story theme going on. So what if Ogerpon is the Momotaro figure and is really like a kid who's been raised/protected by the three pokemon and just believes they're a pokemon? Hence the mask, disguising themselves. And through some means or other is able to utilize terastillization. Or maybe what we saw in the trailer really was just the mask transforming and the kid is hiding behind it somehow? I know, farfetched but I don't think it's entirely impossible.
My theory for how we will get to the new area in area zero will be the other elevator that is across the room from where the one we used to enter area zero in the main game.
Good theory and there’s also buildings way down in area zero that we can’t enter. I think the hidden treasure could be legendary Tera raids, a present day cyclizar legendary, a Terapagos like Pokémon but matches Heath’s depiction, paradox entei/terrakion, or a new mythical
I think the Mystery Pokemon of the Teal Mask is Celebi or Paradox Entei since Kitakami is a very historical area with the past Pokemon Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti being worshipped as heroes that portected Kitakami in the past. That relates to Johto since Johto is a very historical and traditional Pokemon region. I would love to see Black 3 and White 3 or a Legends Unova game in the future!
There's a potential second mystery character teased in the trailer. There's a split second clip of the main character with a suprised expression, looking at someone in the Academy's main hall who has their back to the camera.
It's likely a totally irrelevant detail, but Briar seems to bear a resemblance to Brassius. She has similar hair with a bit of a thorn-like motif, and her name being a type of thorny plant gives me the idea that they may be related in some way.
About Perrin, I really think that the Pokémon she's looking for is Celebi. I mean, she's related to Adaman, the leader of the clan that worshiped the diety of TIME, and also because the it seems we're finding it in the "TIMELESS FOREST". C'mon, it's definitely Celebi. About the mysterious person from the Indigo Disk, I'm pretty sure it's Kieran, the same boy we're meeting in Kitakami. Kieran and his sister are gonna be in the second part of the DLC, and it seems we're gonna have some argument with Kieran and he's gonna be some sort of villain for the first DLC and all... I think Kieran will try to overcome the player, and the outcome of this is gonna be Kieran becoming the champion of the Blueberry Academy.
This is probably incorrect, but I've heard I'm not the only one who has thought about it so Perrin is looking for Celebi Perrin is descendant of Adaman, the Leader of the Diamond Clan that is all about time, Perrin is specifically having the player search a forest when Celebi is the Guardian of the Forest, and Kitakami has some weird time slowing effect around it that may be caused by Celebi's presence That or it's something new- I really don't think it's Ogrepon either since the stuff with Perrin seems more like a sidequest type story
I think the faceless character for the Indigo Disk will be Kieran from the Teal Mask. They both wear a red glove and the same jacket. It looks like he goes through some sort of emotional transformation during the first half of the DLC. What if it's not resolved and carries over to the Indigo Disk? Does that make any sense?
That would be pretty cool as you'll get some nice continuation between both dlc's and seeing the growth of a character within it after waiting a few months for indigo would be pretty dope
With the prominent color aside from the jacket being red (glove and tank top) and the fact the character has made surprise appearances across multiple gens (2, 5 with b2w2, and 7) im going to make the guess that its the canonically strongest trainer in the pokemon universe, Red.
The supposed champion might be Nemona, because they are wearing a glove on their right hand just like her. Another possibility is that they might be related to her, because of wearing a glove. She is the only person that I can think of that wears a glove like what you see in the screen shots.
I think there is still a chance that Perrin might be after Ogerpon considering that, since she specifies she came to Kitakami and therefore probably isn’t a native, it’s possible she’s aware of Ogerpon’s existence and just has limited information. I would prefer if it ended up being something else, but I think the possibility is important to still consider
Why do people even think it's Ogerpon? Ogerpon and the loyal three are clearly going to be the main plot of dlc while Perrin's photos are presented as a "side quest".
I still think Geeta has something to do with Terapagos or at least the tera phenomenon. It said that Terapagos can take on many forms so I wonder if it can take the form of a human. Geeta seems purposely bland or mysterious. Anyway. I am excited to invite trainers to our little hide out. Hopefully I can invite Rika!
"He's just Nate." The Pokemon Masters social media team had so much fun with the Barbie memes but WHAT IF they have insider information and the Blueberry Academy champion is "just Nate" 😂
maybe the champ is someone from black and wihte because in no other gen are sprites of trainer with some sort of basketball tank top well maybe its your rival from black and wihte xD
I have a feeling that this mysterious pokemon that Perrin is looking for could be the "regional fake" pokemon that has been rumoured to be in this dlc.
Imagine the character with the red tank top is Hau from sun and moon or Hop from sword and shield i know theyre not the most popular rivals but that'll be amazing to see in the indigo disk dlc 🤔😁😁
Crackpot theory the mystery champion is Bonnie from Kalos (can’t think of any other characters yet to become trainer, who would attend a school) Based theory, it’s Penny.
The place is called the Timeless Woods and Hisuian Pokémon are seen in some capacity like with the Hisuian Growlithe statues. So it's likely that we'll see Hisuian Pokémon there instead, because of whatever kind of time shenanigans.
I don't think it's a NEW pokemon. I just think "Unspecified" means they want to keep that part a secret for now......OR she could not know the name of it, only what it is supposed to look like, and we have to figure it out.
My guess since the teal mask dlc that wer waiting to come maybe what perrin might be looking for is maybe a fourth member of the royal trio coming in September
There is no fourth member of the Loyal Trio. They're called a trio for a reason, you know. These names aren't made up by the residents but by The Pokémon Company themselves, so it's not in their best interests to really lie like this.
You already bought the equipment. The earrings could just be part of her interest, the symbols could just be a reference. We don’t know if the mask is it’s or if the mask is it’s own being, maybe the mask is evil not the ogre. Not story references, just a character and 1 or more new POKÉMON. The champion should be a new character.
I bet wholly on the blood moon form because the edible green seems like a normal Pokémon you could encounter wherein the blood moon form feels like and is special.
Anyone else notice that the Teal Mask legendaries are based on the companions of Momotaro with Ogrepon being the oni? Maybe the mysterious trainer is Momotaro.

(Not a G.S. Ball, but definitely unique.)
It's important to note that I have yet to see the actual anime, and only have information from that through pieces of social media, I've been trying to avoid spoilers on.
I wouldn't be surprised if Perrin is also a descendant of not only Adaman, but also Irida. Her looks seem a combination of the two.
She definitely is.
good god i just cannot wait for this dlc, every time something new for scarlet and violet is shown i gotta damn near choke back tears because scarlet and violet is everything ive ever wanted since i was a kid like 1999 when i first got pokemon red in the mail and the dlc just looks like its gonna make it even better. i cant wait for this.

What if it's both adaman and irida's descendant, they could have been a more intimate pair
@@mariesmith530 This is PG! hahahaha
I was sure they would end up together in the game but they didn’t.
Perrin is both irida and adaman's acendant
DO NOT DOUBT ME tysm :3
I just realized the leaves on ogerpon's feet look like the straps of sandals. Thats so clever.
You said I think you meant Ogerpon when you said Terapagos a few times in the video. When talking about their mask.
from what we can see of ogerpon’s face in the art where it’s taking it off, it seems to have 6 points in similar positions to the terastal symbol
10:18 Terapagos?
I think the pokemon the photographer is hoping to take a pic of is Celebi. The champion is probably Kieran since they have the same red glove.
I expect Briar to be related to Brasius. Their hair is super similar and their names are as well.
If we do get something related to Unova, i NEED to have more information with Ingo and Emmet and Arceus
I saw that one fanart of Emmet seeing Ingo's clothes in a museum and now I'm just sad every time I think about them

There seems like there’s more teases to johto then unova. Heck, the first route music is just new bark towns theme but faster
Watch the BB League champion be an old rival that never left an impact, like Hau, or Barry, or Trace.
There's a potential second mystery character teased in the trailer. There's a split second clip of the main character with a suprised expression, looking at someone in the Academy's main hall who has their back to the camera.
That's just Giacomo, the Dark type Team Star Boss. He's just wearing an actual school uniform now.
It's likely a totally irrelevant detail, but Briar seems to bear a resemblance to Brassius. She has similar hair with a bit of a thorn-like motif, and her name being a type of thorny plant gives me the idea that they may be related in some way.
Pretty sure tyranitartube mentioned that, and I can definitely see it
ah yes, the mega Pokémon … Dave
This is probably incorrect, but I've heard I'm not the only one who has thought about it so
Perrin is looking for Celebi
Perrin is descendant of Adaman, the Leader of the Diamond Clan that is all about time, Perrin is specifically having the player search a forest when Celebi is the Guardian of the Forest, and Kitakami has some weird time slowing effect around it that may be caused by Celebi's presence
That or it's something new- I really don't think it's Ogrepon either since the stuff with Perrin seems more like a sidequest type story
We all need to name our dipplins, dots
I think the faceless character for the Indigo Disk will be Kieran from the Teal Mask. They both wear a red glove and the same jacket. It looks like he goes through some sort of emotional transformation during the first half of the DLC. What if it's not resolved and carries over to the Indigo Disk?
Does that make any sense?
That would be pretty cool as you'll get some nice continuation between both dlc's and seeing the growth of a character within it after waiting a few months for indigo would be pretty dope
One reason I can’t wait for the DLC is I can finally change out of the school uniforms.
With the prominent color aside from the jacket being red (glove and tank top) and the fact the character has made surprise appearances across multiple gens (2, 5 with b2w2, and 7) im going to make the guess that its the canonically strongest trainer in the pokemon universe, Red.
So we can get tepig and snivy??
The supposed champion might be Nemona, because they are wearing a glove on their right hand just like her. Another possibility is that they might be related to her, because of wearing a glove. She is the only person that I can think of that wears a glove like what you see in the screen shots.
Imagine the BB league champion is Larry tho
Treasure of area zero -> power of dreams that creates paradox pokemon -> tie in to Dream World and this Pokémon BW remakes
Hopefully I can invite Rika!
i'm pretty sure the mysterious Pokemon Perrin want pictured is Shaymin.
I'm also sure Kieran and Ogerpon have a connection.
If you finished the first part then you definitely know who the mystery person should be! I'm so excited to see them again!
"He's just Nate."
The Pokemon Masters social media team had so much fun with the Barbie memes but WHAT IF they have insider information and the Blueberry Academy champion is "just Nate" 😂
I would love to listen to your remixes if they were available on TH-cam Music
maybe the champ is someone from black and wihte because in no other gen are sprites of trainer with some sort of basketball tank top well maybe its your rival from black and wihte xD
That new character Briar is the future Miss Frizzle from the magic school bus
No mention of the new terra type?
I have a feeling that this mysterious pokemon that Perrin is looking for could be the "regional fake" pokemon that has been rumoured to be in this dlc.
There're rumors of a Pokémon getting an alternate form too, based off of the moon. I believe she's gunning for that than anything else.
HnH sees a newly revealed character: “They MUST be the villain of the story!” 😂
Now I wanna go as Briar for Halloween. Just gotta get those earrings
I hope the mystery person is just Clavell
Bryar is definitely a descendent of heath. Pant suit and same hear? ye.
The mask fell off *Terapagos* you say?
Imagine the character with the red tank top is Hau from sun and moon or Hop from sword and shield i know theyre not the most popular rivals but that'll be amazing to see in the indigo disk dlc 🤔😁😁
I think the mystery character who face we didn’t see is prolly the main character of the black and white games Hilbert/Hilda or Nate/Rosa
Possible plot twist the boy from the Dlc is actually ogrepan
I have a theory. What if the treasure is the you can create pokemon fusions since the book talks about a different species of the legendaries. Idk
I bet the “Mystery Pokemon” is a Hisuian Pokemon living in present day.
So wait when do all the starters come? Is it in September or is it the later dlc
Second dlc
@@cristianordonez7976 so annoying to wait
Plot twist: the mystery pokemon is an regigigas regional form like the legendary galarian birds
Crackpot theory the mystery champion is Bonnie from Kalos (can’t think of any other characters yet to become trainer, who would attend a school)
Based theory, it’s Penny.
The side quest is in a place called timeless woods and since she is connected To legends arceus I thank it is celebi
It would be just like Pokémon to say it’s a “mysterious” Pokémon and it’s just ogrepon without his mask
The Tera logo kinda looks like the things around Arceus that holds in his true power…just a theory
It's not a hexagon on Arceus's abdomen. It just looks like Terapagos' shell's design.
Briar is clearly a descendant of Heath, I doubt she’s the villain
Briar is Arven's Aunt. Calling it.
Looks like she could be related to Brassius to me
I don't know why but the Teal Mask mystery mon kinda reminds me of a Riolu.
I think the mysterious Pokémon the photographer is looking for is either the “edible green” or the “blood moon” Pokémon from the riddles
I bet wholly on the blood moon form because the edible green seems like a normal Pokémon you could encounter wherein the blood moon form feels like and is special.
Briar got the same eyes as Artems robotic parents...
Is Briar related to Brassius? She has similar weird, thorny vine looking hair.
I like hwo when you talk about the mask falling off ogerpon you called it teropogos twice lok
I wanna guess that Briar is the BB academy champion.
What if the unknown champion is actually Penny? She did transfer from another region after all.
Champion N. It’s written in the stars.
Does anyone know when i can finally take my spinda out of pokemon home. Ilca is literally team rocket
Anyone else notice that the Teal Mask legendaries are based on the companions of Momotaro with Ogrepon being the oni? Maybe the mysterious trainer is Momotaro.
The mysterious trainer is in The Indigo Disk, no? How would that work? Because I see us, the player characters being the Momotaro.
