Academic Discourse 3: Author Performance Quantification

In the race to increase the number of publications, h-index that depends on the number of citations, many academics are known to rely on adding their names as authors in publications of their friends, colleagues, and subordinates. Albeit some are accused of being an author without intellectual contribution. To prevent assigning any credits for being an author without intellectual contribution we may rely on Author Categorization that can be used to develop a tool named "Author Performance Index (API)"
