Everything looks flawless on you Carmel, but totally get it, these products are just “fine”. I just cleaned out and organized my make up desk drawer and I’m using up some “just fine” products…more like random mini size stuff to use up or makeup that’s mostly used up that I know I won’t repurchase so I can finally throw it away. Feels so gooood lol. Wonderful video! ❤ You’ll need to do an organize my make up drawer video one day! That inspires everyone to get their mess together! 😂

You are right that no one really talks about products after their initial review. It is interesting and helpful to hear about how you feel about products with continued use. I have had the “too light for me”problem with quite a few concealers and foundations over the years and they just sit in my cabinet after only one or two uses - but some brands seem quite off in their shade descriptions and the model examples they use for the shades. Thanks for a great video. 😊
Oh it’s the worst when that happens, especially when you’ve spent so much money. And you’re right Sally, shade descriptions can be incredibly misleading sometimes! Thanks for watching, it’s reassuring to know it’s not just me that has these little problems along the way 😄🩷
I love Love LOVE the idea of this video!! It’s so honest and genuine! Because you’re absolutely right… we all notice when someone “raves” about a product but then never uses it again. I think the glass mascara tube is a terrible idea 😳. I’m with you 100% on not loving heavy makeup bits but more than that. You’re a momma…. You already know what that mess is going to look like and what the clean up will entail should something happen 😳. Hard no on unnecessary glass packaging (sorry earth, I’m doing other things though 🤪). I’m genuinely terrified of broken glass, thank you Annie Lennox😂 I’m sure you won’t be surprised by this… I love full glam🤣 I love the entire process of putting on all the makeups. For 30 years it was the only thing I did for me. Just a quick few minutes that were mine. I don’t leave my house much. At all. Especially in the winter. So I’m doing full glam to feed the cats and vacuum 🥳. That’s where I am in life right now 😂 You my friend are beautiful and helpful and I appreciate you so much 😘

Hi Carmel, totally agree, beautiful looking make up, but on the daily, most of us are rushing to get out the door and need fast application with no faffing!! Lovely for when you have the luxury of time to apply. Overall result looks beautiful although the foundation was too glowy for my personal taste! Xx❤

Hi Carmel, I have not been using my PM palettes either. I have one of her quads that I do use a lot. I think I prefer smaller palettes. I’ve been loving the CT mascara but I don’t buy anything for packaging, but if it is bad packaging… like not easy to open etc, I may not use it a lot. I don’t like the CT stick. To me that seems like a scam product lol. Like the emperor is not wearing any clothes

Your makeup actually looks really beautiful! I love that combination of products on you. That said though, it is very ‘summer glam’, so I can understand why you wouldn’t wear those things on the daily. I’m the same with that PML palette 😅 Bought it because people said it was the more wearable/neutral every day palette. I wore it to work once and everyone pointed out how Smokey/glam my eye shadow was…I am quite fair though, so even the lightest colours in that palette look like a full on Smokey eye on me. So yeah, mainly save it for nights out now, its not quite the every day palette for me.

I absolutely love these "use makeup I already own" "shop your stash" videos. I have to really put my Mothership palettes on my vanity in order for me to use them. They're amazing but I think my problem with the palette is its so big and bulky. I'm more into using smaller palettes lately.
I completely get what you mean! The Mothership palettes are definitely bulky and honestly, I’m terrified of dropping mine too 😂 Most days I just want a quick, one & done cream shadow look. But you know what? Maybe we should make a pact to show our Motherships some love- they’re so beautiful and they really deserve it! 🩷
