I know this is a slightly older video but why on earth did Bedman get positive bonus at 10:57? Is it a bug? Is this some crazy Bedman tech? Can someone explain this?
The system gives you positive bonus when you are judged to be playing 'aggressively', based on an in-game parameter called tension balance. Dashing a lot, attacking continuously, breaking walls, using supers, instant blocking, using high attack-level moves gives you scores. Scores decreases while moving away from the opponent, or not attacking. If tension balance hits maximum, the game gives you positive bonus. In this game, Bedman used Call13C twice ina row, and since Call13C enhances error6E's attack-levels, tension balance might have maxed out.
Pretty sure that Bedman? exposes himself way too much to a counter during the air-dash and air-S is a button that rarely connects to air-HS, but that actually sounds like a really fun pressure sequence in the corner.
