I've been listening to and attending live shows for more than 50 years. This clip captures one of the best live music performances by any artist, any time. Amazing, and I am hoping Goose returns to the Pony Summer Stage for an encore 2024 appearance. PLEASE, GUYS!!
@@NewPraetorianBlues I did not, unfortunately. I had tickets lined up pre-sale, but had to bow out with my oldest son moving into college that weekend. But I did see them at the Mann with my boys (ages 17 and 20). It was their first concert (ever) and a show it was! Glad to see it now posted in its entirety. The guys are getting popular and it's all well deserved.
@@richardcatalinajr.369 That's fantastic, sounds like a great time. And I have to agree, they keep stepping up. We'll always miss Ben but Cotter has fully gelled into Goose now, and it's a sight to behold. Draconian Meter Maid by Cotter's old band, Swimmer, was covered for the first time in Set 1 at PNC, and they KILLED it. They also uploaded all of Set 2, which had such massive jams it ended up being only 3 songs, the first being a debut... If you haven't seen it yet, please check it out!!
Have to comment again ,I went to 4 dead and company show that year and I'm a wicked deadhead, but this was the highlight of my year....I hope this becomes there cornell so when I'm an ol grandpa I can brag(I was there lol)
Just because they are good musicians doesn't mean they can write songs. Some of their jams just go on for too long, without many changes. That's boring.
I was at the 4th show. Amazing show but 2 gripes. That bass drop thing needs to go. It’s lame af and was way over used. And next year maybe have fireworks on the actual 4th. Other than that the experience/show/crowd was stellar. Honk
This was a solid night, too bad the next night was a total bust with a late start and no fireworks and the biggest highlight of the night was a grateful dead cover. Phish it is for a while i guess 🤡🎉
Stylistically I understand the use of Autotune as a tool for your music...here it just sounds bad and unnecessary. Rick can sing circles around most other jam bands, including Phish. Why ruin it?
great show but they oversold the venue to the point it was counterproductive to be there. literally nowhere to move or see the stage if you got there after 6. please do better
Never mind, answered my own question, yes he does: "But-surprisingly-he [Rick Mitarotonda] was more than willing to talk everything from music philosophy to the band’s upward trajectory to some surprising influences to his use of vocal effects like auto-tune, a controversial move for a jamband scene not accustomed to such shenanigans."
Had my 3yr old son with me. We had a blast! It was his first time at a concert and seeing fireworks. Special. 🎉
Taking my 3 yr old out to Red Rocks for Goose ❤
I had 4 & 6, they loved!!!

Did you make it to PNC? Even bigger venue! Soon they'll be too big for little old Jersey

With slow ready > hot tea from Charlotte
Best show ive been to at the pony in 15 years, LEGENDARY would be a great way to describe my experience!!!!!
Couldn't agree more. My first Goose show too. Top 5 concert experience in my life, this 2nd set was ridiculous.
Ok, guys from Goose.....how much did the fireworks in your periphery influence the tunes/jam????
Pure magic caught on film!
This was phenomenal. Over and over, please. This will be in our brains 🧠 forever. So so good.
This 4K is mind blowing the reds pop so hard The yellows lawd
Absolute banger of a show. This was the jam of the year. I could watch Rick watch fireworks and shred all damn day.
Thanks for an excellent birthday party!
Running this back for the 4th! GOOOOOSEEE!
Tuning in mate!
The Fireworks were on Stage! That Arcadia was Sick!!!! Holy Cow!
Two friends of mine were there. Said it was epic. This band does not ever fail to deliver.
So good. 😊
So grateful to have been there. This is all time special stuff these guys are doing with ease. Just glad to be along for the ride.
Greetings from Asbury Park Bam Bam
Love watching these boys jam. See you at SPAC!!
Wow+++!!!. Thank you.
Unbelievable so thankful to have been there. This is amazing to relive❤️
As a gigging musician, I'm so jealous of this stage and vibe. Incredible as always Goose
Was there and can confirm, amazing show, and impeccable timing with the firework finale
Thank you for posting this! (and the flacs on bandcamp......I think you all set a new record in
HONK
Always grateful for Bandcamp and the Lossless files!!
That was beautiful
Looks like the band had quite the show themselves. They deserve it!

Oh WOW! wow - wow - wow
Epic! Thank You!
Awesome show. Thanks goose.
WOW! Sweet with those fireworks in the background.
Fucking awesome. Happy 4th everyone. 🎉 🇺🇸
show at Peach was off the hook. These men had a busy weekend. Way to spread it around!
As a King Gizzard fan, I wonder how their green room was.
Dell center in august gonna be awesome!!
Ripping set. Goose improving show by show. This was a staple for them.
How do they maintain and grow the excitement of two-chords vamp over 10-minutes...and seque effortlessly into a funk groove?
This is glorious! I wonder if the band loved watching the fireworks as they played. So good!
This was soo sick "a front seat to the show" and fireworks
Hell yes!!! Thanks Goose!!! 🎉❤
the jam ripping + the fireworks was surreal. top 3 concert experience and im a dirty wook who's seen phish 40+ times
Jeff was on fire during Creatures, that was some fun percussion.
I'm thinking this should have MORE views.
Fire. Works..
Yassssss! Thank you so much goose, this is awesome. Tiff from CT~♥
Jam has a UM Draconian vibe to it. Fucking love it.
Yes!! I heard the same
Its twiddle.
Have to comment again ,I went to 4 dead and company show that year and I'm a wicked deadhead, but this was the highlight of my year....I hope this becomes there cornell so when I'm an ol grandpa I can brag(I was there lol)
Absolute fireworks 💥
GOOOOOOOOOOSE!!!!
Pete looks amazing and sounds better
Need these two full shows on the TH-cams
As this was happening, I thought “I hope they clip this for TH-cam.” Amazing moment.
Epic! Wish I was there 😮
These guys are on fire
I needed a little fresh Goose tonight, thank you.
Absolutely spectacular performance!! 🎇🎶🎆🎵
It was better live... just sayin' 😎 - Thanks for another great show, GOOSE! Now, MAMU tonight!!! (um, Me and My Uncle, that is 😁)
Great jams. Epic 4th of July vibes
G🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆SE
This entire show was soo good and should be its own album!!! 🪿 🪿 🪿
at 17:43 fella in the white shirt just head banging, is he front row at every Goose show?
Really digging ricks new tone
Amazing ... I can listen to them like I do the Dead
The Grateful Dead was better at writing songs.
10:36
15:24

Siiiiiiiick!

Goose is the best thing ever ❤
No

I just can't get into these guys, they got like 2 good songs.....
Just because they are good musicians doesn't mean they can write songs.

Sticking with phish after paying money for no fireworks and a mediocre set 👍
I hear the security there were assaulting people and kicking them out for being snarked at.
This was a solid night, too bad the next night was a total bust with a late start and no fireworks and the biggest highlight of the night was a grateful dead cover. Phish it is for a while i guess 🤡🎉

That guy is an awful singer compared with Page or Trey.
@@RadagastBrown420you're high and out of your mind with that statement
great show but they oversold the venue to the point it was counterproductive to be there. literally nowhere to move or see the stage if you got there after 6. please do better
Do I hear an autotune on his voice on the first song?
Never mind, answered my own question, yes he does: "But-surprisingly-he [Rick Mitarotonda] was more than willing to talk everything from music philosophy to the band’s upward trajectory to some surprising influences to his use of vocal effects like auto-tune, a controversial move for a jamband scene not accustomed to such shenanigans."
He's not a very good singer or song writer.
Epic.
However, not sure how I feel about the stars & stripes effect in the light rig.... I wouldn't have pegged them for Trump supporters.
Its fourth of july????
