Great tips! Easy to follow, but not sure what to think now... Removed hose to carburetor and did not have to turn the key for gas to come out. It was just leaking right out as soon as I removed it. Is this normal? Starts up instantly with choke on and then dies right out, like it got drownded. Any guidance would be awesome! I do not know what I am doing just out here trying lol Thanks!

Great video thanks 2003 Polaris 600 twin starts idling great runs strong then dies while in motion . Cleaned carb, new fuel and pump ,has vacuum .im thinking it must be something electrical . Any ideas.? Thanks tom
So Iv got a question. Is is possible that the full pump not work for electric start but does for pull? Mine pull starts but when I crank there’s no ignition. It does have spark so I’m real confused!
This video is very informative... I have a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 400 that will turn over great but won't start.. I pulled gas hoses from the gas tank to see if the gas would flow..It does..Thought maybe bad gas so I drained the tank and put in a couple of gallons of new gas in..Didn't help..There is a white filter on the left side that seems to blow threw so if there was the gas filter it seems to be clear. Now I am stopped. So I will try replacing the fuel pump..Maybe there is another fuel filter???? It is hard to find a good video for a 2003 Polaris 400 Sportsman. Thank you for this video.. Trish M.
My wheeler cranks sprayed started fluid in and it still didn’t start all it does is crank. 2018 570efi. All this started when it ran out of gas, put gas in and that when this problem started
Can u help we put two Polaris sportsman 500 engine together bc both had small problems and now it’s just cranks cranks but no start not even starter fluid starts it

They don’t flow much. I think there around 3 psi.

Start with basics - fuel, spark, compression and timing. Make sure they’re all present and in spec.
