Good old times when Assassin's Creed stories were great. It was not about good and evil, but rather an ideological grey fight between 2 different philosophies that both makes sense in their own way.
When you think about it. The assassin's creed series is kinda dark and sad. And i love it!!

There are two kinds of AC fans.
Those who enjoy the series for what it has to offer.
And then there are those who absolutely hate every game that does not feature Altair or Ezio.

one thing iv always admired about assassins is how they can endure so many loses and so much pain and still persevere, they are amazing. as was this video
The truth is the life of an assassin isn't to have joy and it isn't to have fun it is to make the balance of death and righteousness be filled with blood and death that is one of the very few reasons why the creed is their and is also why for every assassin that stands he stands to fall on his feet so those don't have to live on there knees and its also why they can not live without sorrow and death in the little part they call life

But they that little group even though it's sad fight for the people so the people can live at peace while they fight and die only reason they do it's because they know how to fight and know many secrets like the Templars so they fight because no one else will

Sometimes I feel alone when I read the comments about AC unity, I actually enjoyed the game and the story, the co op to me at least was fun, I loved the story and always was interested, and the ending made me feel bad for Arno, and his speech at the end made so much sense

It feels like it summarizes all the parts in the AC franchise into one little video from The Middle East (Altair) to Europe (Arno, Ezio, The Frie twins, The Kenways) all the way to the Americas (Connor, Edward, Haytham, Aveline, Shay, and Adewale)

Ps i know that Shay is not an assassin but he was a very valuable character in the AC franchise and i know that the kenways were not all born in Europe but thats where they left their mark, in America connor never revealed his last name so they never knew and just thought he was some crazy Native and i know that desmond died but he did save the world

I'm sure that if AC Unity was the exact same game but with Ezio instead of Arno ( even with the same dialogue ) people would praise the game..
FoemaUnit Arno is Ezio 2.0, a copy... That's why Unity is one of the worst Assassin's Creed games (for me, you have the most important era in human story, French Revolution, and Ubisoft wanted this game with the same fame as AC2, and they recicle everything, some parts of soundtrack, Arno is Ezio 2.0, even Arno looks like Ezio physically)
This year, the true Assassin's Creed is Rogue... Recicled game, but awesome story and brilliant characters, great soundtrack and few new things.
The thing is, Ubisoft, don't try to put multiplayer in this games, Rogue is one of the best Assassin's Creed (for me, and for lot of people) and it hasn't multiplayer, Assassin's Creed 2 hasn't multiplayer, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood has multiplayer but too weak, the same for Revelations. If you put efforts to make a multiplayer game, you put less efforts in story, creativity and that is the most important thing in Assassin's Creed, you lost the game and it becomes in Call of Duty (poor story, they are only a multiplayer game)

MaestreCris I personally seen Arno completely different from Ezio. My favorite assassins is Connor and Altair but all have opinions
***** In my case I'm fan of Ezio but not a fanboy... I simply consider the story of Ezio was really amazing, because Ubisoft used one of the two moments in human history where we improve too much. They did it very well, and with Altaïr they did it too... Do you know why? I'll tell you, because these games haven't multiplayer (or the multiplayer they have is primitive), after AC3 they improve the multiplayer, and guess... The time they put efforts in multiplayers they didn't put that effort in the story mode and even the main character...
In my case I hate Connor for one reason, and it's fail of Ubisoft, they created a character who had much more potential than Ezio (something too hard to believe) who was Haytham, a cool badass, and they changed it for Connor, a boy who never had the oportunity to learn how the world works, without any charisma (and if you compare him with Ezio, who really had charisma to be the main character in 3 games... take your opinion about it), the character is really well done because a native hasn't that oportunities but, if you put us Haytham and then changes him for other... In my opinion AC3 could be the best AC game ever only if Haytham was the true protagonist (with some changes in main story, of course, but make a game for a character that already you have with the ambientation and everything... It's too simply to make it possible)
Edward, the problem in the game is not Edward, it's a great character, a man who wants the best for himself, with that touchs of the personality of Connor and Haytham, even great story (having in mind that the important members of the Kenway family were Connor and Haytham). the problem here is the game, that was an awesome game, but, why call it Assassin's Creed IV when the game has onle a couple of mission related with Assassins? Even Edward didn't join to the brotherhood 'till the end of the game. If Ubisoft called it with another game and it was related with Assassin's Creed we could say that could be one of the best games ever made by Ubisoft, and they did it with Watch Dogs, different game with something related.
And Arno, we have the same problem... Too much efforts in multiplayer, and they didn't very well for story and character. The thing is, Arno is too similar to Ezio (in lot of aspects, even phisycally), the story with Elise reminds me Ezio-Christina with the difference of the girl was a templar to add drama to the game. The game has the same problem as AC4 here, the story focus on Arno-Elise more than Assassin's-Templar war. For me it is an error, you in a game can add love story but not as the main story. Unity isn't a bad game, it has a decent story, yes, with that errors I told, and with some inconsistencies like: Arno is a new member of the order, they ask him to do EVERYTHING IMPORTANT for the order... I mean, Altaïr had to do to recover his honor and status in the brotherhood, Ezio had to do because there aren't more Assassin's to do it because the Templars killed most of the brotherhood and they are only the "teachers" of Ezio... Connor, the same as Ezio, only Achilles and him, and Achilles was old and injuried, by logic, Connor had to do everything.. Edward... Well, Edward wanted glory and money xD
I can't understand why the new member of the order is the best choice to do lot of missions of the game, I mean, they had lot of Assassins in the brotherhood, why command to the newbie and not more experienced Assassins who could have better skills, more train, and wisdom than Arno? Even in Assassin's Creed Rogue (the best since Ezio's trilogy and guess, it hasn't multiplayer) when you start the game, Shay is a new member who is commanded to do missions (important or not) he always has the helpt of Liam in the important missions 'till Lisboa when everything is wrong and well, we all know what happens later xDD
And Assassin's Creed Syndicate... They are doing something good, no multiplayer, but I think it will be horrible, only with the trailer they show in E3... It seems that Assassin's Creed lost it soul.
Something I will never forgive to Ubisoft is Unity... They had the most important era in Human story, the moment that the world becomes in what we are today, and they did that piece of shit, too simple story, too bugged, without originality for the characters and even worse, they put "remixed" soundtracks of Assassin's Creed II in the game in a vain try to attract the "old" fans. If you want to result attract to the old fans, just work in your games like you did before and don't prostitute your saga making it the new Call of Duty... Call of Duty could work in that way, because is a game focus in PVP and online, Assassin's Creed is based in story, if you want to have a great story don't do it quickly because you want money... I'll give a chance to Syndicate, but if I see that the game still the way of Unity and IV and not Rogue, I will leave this saga appart of my life and remember old times with Altaïr, Ezio, Connor, Haytham, Edward (although I'm still thinking that IV shouldn't be call Assassin's Creed) and Shay.
Even it wouldn't be unusual if in a couple of years we see a remake version of one of the classical Assassin's Creed.
