YES! I couldnt agree more with what Neel said about people just hating Fairy tail just for the sake of hopping onto the hate hype train and ''be cool''. Ive seen so many vids of media critics who objectively evaluate shows on their strengths and weaknesses, who admit that Fairy tail is overall entertaining and nicely written, and that it's really not any different from any regular Shonen, for instance, if you view the power of emotions boost up thing as a flaw, then it's often seen in most Shonen animes too either way, so why the targeted hate particularly on FT? And then you'd find people coming out from the shadows in the comment sections of these videos, admitting to enjoying FT despite the popular opinion, or just now having the balls to have a genuine opinion on it just cause someone else dared praising it first, Lmao. My two cents on it is that Frankly, it's quite well written with the shit ton of foreshadowing, cool character designs and heart-warming character dynamics. And it sure knows how to hit you in the feels. Perfection be damned, most authors aim to do what FT does to us with the feels and empathy.
I think fairy tail focuses on the power of emotion way more than other shonen's. that type of thing is seen in other animes as well but you can't deny that it is seen more in fairy tail than others. That being said it doesn't mean that fairy tail deserves all the hate it gets. It is a great story that knows how to bring out emotions in it's viewers.
@@yeetusdefeetus4601 I also agree that fairy tail really emphases a lot on emotions overall. But I think the reason why the "power of emotions" can seem more apparent than other shonens especially during battle scenes is because of the dialogues. Even if we see the same concept over and over in other Shonens too. For instance, you could see naruto thinking about his parents and getting back up, going all "I can't give up" and do some sort of tactic or power attack to defeat a bad guy. Or you can see Deku having flashbacks to some scene where he was bending down crying in front of All Might, and then go full power to save someone because now he feels grateful for getting this quirk/chance. Or flashbacks to people whom he couldn't save and then this fuels him to not let that happen again in front of him. Meanwhile fairy tail does exactly the same thing, but while literally using dialogues like "I can feel my friends' feelings and hear their voices", hence why it's so much more apparent and blatant. Other shonens can he centered around emotions just as much as FT, but we often just don't notice it as much because it's more subtle. Not that being subtle or apparent is good or bad, since both are just as entertaining and enjoyable to me.
I mean I can agree that the friendship is power troupe is weak writing. However people hating on Fairy Tail act like every piece of media needs to be a master class of literature to be good.... sometimes plots can be bland or not unique, and be perfectly enjoyable.

While Naruto was my first anime, fairy tail was my second anime and the first one to make me cry. It was the first one to actually make me choke up and feel pride when they won something. Honestly I think FT made me a better friend too and more considerate of other people
I think fairy tail haters are mostly the fans of the big 3 animes since there was a time when fairy tail manga outsold that of bleach and naruto and the fans started spreading hate on ft ever since, and they were successfull. Ft manga sales dropped like crazy after that lol
I've read somewhere that wendy was initially meant to be a "Water Dragon Slayer" with healing support role as a contrast to natsu's Fire Dragon Slayer, but due to the presence of Juvia her design was changed to Sky/Air as an alternative water. I don't really know if its a legit thing but anyways its fun having to read things like these HAHAHAHAHHA
Such a sweet scene between Jellal and Erza, she gives him comfort during this time of distress, just as he did for her when they were little. They even got compared to a couple of cuddling squirrels, so cute. 🥺 Too bad their heart to heart got interrupted, indeed things are never easy for these two. It's a complex relationship for sure, that's what makes it so great.
Enjoyed your reaction as always. One of the things i really love about fairy tail is that it takes you into the world and you feel with the characters so much. Not to mention the genius usage of music/score throughout the show. I get goosebumps every time during the scene where erza says wally travels the continent and it flashes to him.
they hate ft because of power of friendship but almost every anime also have that kind of theme and yet they like it. To put it simply they just hate ft. For me I like FT because of its simple plot that way its easier to connect to the characters rather than anime with so complex or too deep plotline. I like complicated anime too but I only watch it one time only unlike anime with fun and simple plot you can enjoy it again and again. I say it cause many says that fairy tail is for kid only because of its plot and for having no blood in anime version (manga version have blood btw) They add blood later in Fairy Tail 2014.
You know, after watching the whole series, I would love a reaction to all the endings. Some are fun, some are sad. You could almost look at it as being an "ending" to having watched the whole show, haha
While we can joke about the ‘power of friendship’ being a cop out, and some lack of logic, this show just knows how to hit you in the feels. Even when certain moments hold too long, you don’t question it because it still gets you to cheer, cry, or laugh.
There was logic and it wasn't a cope out. Everything on how stuff happens had explanations but there's always people who have bad reading comprehension so they throw a bitch fit. Almost like Naruto.
i guess the deciding point of liking fairy tail is if you like the whole “power of friendship” thing. but even then, it’s not even that bad in ft than they make it out to be. and the plot just gets so much better especially how they connect certain characters together
Right, poor guy, he just wants to piss but drama has to drama. Glad to see some Ichiya enjoyment from a reactor. He's a joke character, but he also shouldn't be dismissed so easily, he'll be an MVP a couple times. I suppose this counts as a partial spoiler, but he even scores himself a waifu. Don't worry, it isn't Erza.
The haters are blind haters, jumping on the train just because whilst ignoring the flaws of their own shows. Yeah, the “power of friendship” is a little eye rolling at times (and in later seasons it admittedly goes harder than it should and feels more like a cop-out than previously), but literally the premise of FT is that magic comes from emotions, so the more emotional and “fired up” the characters are - the stronger they are.

It's just that they formed their decision on wrong information. Not to mention that Jellal himself was being manipulated as well. Hell Richard/Hoteye himself knew about Jellal and what he was doing, we see him standing in front of Brain and Jellal years ago in a flashback and all of Oracion Seis seem to have a very clear understanding of who Jellal is. That the brothers didn't meet each other seems more like some really bad luck (or maybe Brain saw his potential and needed something to motivate Richard with).

Fairy tail is very half and half all anime fans either hate it or love it people hate it because of the friendship thing like they defeat there enemies because of friendship
IKR, but that's what the show is about, the main theme of the story is literally friendship, family and love. I honestly don't get what's there to hate about, fairy tail teaches us literal facts and meaningful life lessons. They emphasise again and again how important the people around us are and how we should treasure them before it's too late and that's something people should learn to understand and appreciate more instead of hate and get irritated with. They should seriously learn to look from a different perspective before straight up saying everything is bullshit. Or they are just plain lonely that's why they can't handle friendship talk, how sad. Anyways, I'm glad to see so many other people who understand and enjoy fairy tail as much as I do, and love it for the same reason others loathe it for :)
People hate it because they don't understand everything and expect to be spoon fed info that is either right in front of them or explained in the last arc (which 90% of people who claim to have watched the show haven't seen). No they don't defeat their enemies because of "friendship". There's always something different that happens and they might mention their friends briefly which I agree is corny at times but I rewatched most of the show and fights and it has less plot armor and power of friendship than top shows like hunterxhunter, dbz, and the big 3.
People just get upset when something doesn't go the way they wanted or expected. So because it didn't go their way they hate on that moment. When their are several of those moments they hate on the series itself. When in reality its really just a couple of moments they hated, not the series. Like countless times I heard that the reason they hate the show, is because Nastu and Erza never loose. When I point out instances were they do, they always counter me explaining with one or two specific fights they didn't like. In which I reply with that wasn't your original point, your point was they never loose, how does that 1 or 2 battles make you feel that way. They then come back saying that they don't even remember the parts I stated and only remember the fights they hated. The other thing is they always say they don't want comparisons to other series. When if you do a comparison, you can find several times in other Shonen were something similar happened in fairy tail. Yet those same people that complain about that moment in Fairy Tail, love it in the other series.
Fairytail is a top tier anime. I don't understand the hate. I loved every bit of this show. Except one episode. But you'll know which one when you get to it 😂
That would be a pretty major plot hole, and destroy the characterization of Natsu and Fairy Tail as a whole. The fact that they don't kill people is a major part of the series, and it's explicitly illegal for wizard guilds to kill. Natsu killing Brain would make Fairy Tail a dark guild. They would lose their official license to operate openly, and be forced into the shadows. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying that you being right would in itself be bad writing because of the ramifications that got ignored.
Fairy Tail as far as I'm concerned is a good anime, but I can definitely see why some people don't like it, it's fairly cheesy. It also does end up sort of falling back on the "power of friendship" trope quite often and has a tendency not to really kill off any of the characters, though I'm kinda okay with it. The power scaling in the anime can also be said to be a bit wonky, though there was something someone said a while back that I think summed it up pretty well, "Rather than being about crazy, complicated over the top abilities, Fairy Tail instead focuses on the emotions, the characters and the general story, it's one of those anime that's based on feelings, ya know?"
What about Naruto? Plus they did have explanations behind their wins so it ain't friendship that won or shit. Plus we do got Simon, Igneel, Éclair, Jude, and Future Lucy despite the fake outs.
I watched Fairy Tail until the Tartaros Arc and I have a love-hate relationship with the author. The world is great but all the arcs just end up amounting to the same thing. Except a few arcs like Phantom Lord, Laxus's game and the Grand Magic Games.
Black clover WAS good my dudes lol Thats all i can say Ill should not have to say why its bad once the show catches up and you see it yourselves if you dont read it
its the cool thing to hate shows... watchers are actualy realy picky.. in movies and other genre's too.. if writer dared to change the usual order (as like knight goes fight dragon to save the princess and live forgever happily ever after) if writer change it to be creative he got to master the changes or us the watchers would hate him forever for it. game of thrones is the most like to hate show i know for this example.. great show.. millions of dollars expent just so i can see dragons and sht in 3D and for the how the nerative ended pepole will burn the show to the ground. fairy tail isn't that different... the very end is pretty weak.. but the show got alot to enjoy from if u open your mind abit... and willing to enjoy what the writer made for you.. he realy work hard for you... so atleast try enjoy the show broh
Game of Thrones isn't hated for attempting to be subversive, it's praised for it. No, it's hated because people were too emotionally invested in believing the obviously evil people weren't evil, despite the core concept of the series being that *everyone* is horrible and that powerful people succeeding is bad for the kingdom.
You guys will soon find out why there are so many fairy tail haters. It's plainly because the writing becomes absurd. The good seasons are really good and fun to watch but at a certain point I won't say when to avoid spoilers, it just goes downhill. Trust me! You'll notice when it happens

There's always something different that happens and they might mention their friends briefly which I agree is corny at times but I rewatched most of the show and fights and it has less plot armor and power of friendship than top shows like hunterxhunter, dbz, and the big 3.
Well they did give explanations behind their wins so it ain't friendship.
But you'll know which one when you get to it 😂
I think you are conveniently forgetting that Jellal was pretty much brain washed
Ang late ko na. Kakatapos lang ng MPL HAHAHAH😆
Episode 68.. 😫😫
Waiting!
in the manga that move natsu uses to finish zero actually kills him He's dead in the manga
There's no indication in the manga that Brain died at that moment.
Waiting
❤❤❤
Bro more Indian songs reaction? Ur reaction are awesome pls do it ❤️❤️ love from India
I watched Fairy Tail until the Tartaros Arc and I have a love-hate relationship with the author. The world is great but all the arcs just end up amounting to the same thing. Except a few arcs like Phantom Lord, Laxus's game and the Grand Magic Games.
Same with every other anime honestly.
Black clover WAS good my dudes lol
Thats all i can say
Ill should not have to say why its bad once the show catches up and you see it yourselves if you dont read it
its the cool thing to hate shows...
watchers are actualy realy picky.. in movies and other genre's too.. if writer dared to change the usual order (as like knight goes fight dragon to save the princess and live forgever happily ever after) if writer change it to be creative he got to master the changes or us the watchers would hate him forever for it.
game of thrones is the most like to hate show i know for this example.. great show.. millions of dollars expent just so i can see dragons and sht in 3D and for the how the nerative ended pepole will burn the show to the ground. fairy tail isn't that different... the very end is pretty weak.. but the show got alot to enjoy from if u open your mind abit... and willing to enjoy what the writer made for you.. he realy work hard for you... so atleast try enjoy the show broh
@@dontmisunderstand6041 guess uou right to some degree.. i just didnt vibe with that ://
Perfect described most people even fans like to be picky on trivial things.
Can you react on tedi afro mesqel square gura bicha
You guys will soon find out why there are so many fairy tail haters. It's plainly because the writing becomes absurd. The good seasons are really good and fun to watch but at a certain point I won't say when to avoid spoilers, it just goes downhill. Trust me! You'll notice when it happens
I feel like black clover got more views and fans than fairy tail
