Your chaos is balanced by the calm of having darling ducks and sweet Eliza for support as you both continue to make great strides in the kitchen. The green color on the bench seat is complimenting your colorful gardens! Both of you bring a positive energy to each step of your renovation-----Cheers~
Love seeing Ellie get more comfortable in front of the camera! If the bench is any indication of what's to come, the kitchen is going to be so cozy and charming!
Girls, nice job! Just a suggestion on use of the table saw: Lower the circular saw blade to about 1/2” above the height of the wood. Cuts better/cleaner, easier on the table saw, and much safer! Use a “Push Stick/Block” in moving the work piece through the last part of the cut through the rotating blade. Too many fingers lost on rotating blades! Keep up the fun! It’s exhausting, but your finished end product will look great and you’ll get a great satisfaction of the DIY accomplishment!
Hi girls, loving these home renovation videos, sehr gut! Just wanted to suggest one thing. I have a neighbour who does a lot of carpentry in his backyard using saws, sanders etc. Please just be aware of the noise these make and how they may affect your neighbours…migraines, sore ears etc (as well as yourselves)…use ear protection. Plus take regular breaks from using them. Maybe check in with your neighbours, take some muffins. The noise is unavoidable, but some neighbourly goodwill is always a good thing.
Hello y'all from Florida. An idea to think about, use an Asian style sliding wall/door. I did this to one closet to make the two rooms into one, yet be able to close if a guest come over; the wall locks and is insulate/sound proof using spray foam on the interior of the wall. This will give you more of an open floor plan feel, with separation if wanted.
Hi Maddie, I can see your home improvement vlogs are coming along leaps and bounds and it's good that you have breaks and spend time in your gorgeous garden with your ducks which is lovely!! So thankyou for sharing👍
You guys are now the "professionals". Another great job, and you get better with each new project. A lot of work but the rewards are huge, especially when you look at the house before you started!
In the midst of all this chaos and drama is the two of you being so in love. You are both playing off your individual strengths. And l imagine your love off camera as you decompress is really awesome. I love seeing you two becoming more n more happy.😘
Maddie, I’ve always loved you and your videos. For years now. Can I just say I am loving elli too! She is a treasure and sooo funny. House is looking better and better, and I love the Eliza and duck content. Thanks so much for all the smiles you give me❤️
I'm just in awe of how you two approach each project with such positivity & at the same time have fun doing it!! The bench looks great & love the green paint that you picked out!! Great job!! 👍🙌
Good Sunday Morning Eliza, Ellie and Maddie!!🌄 Y'all are staying busy and accomplishing quite a bit, doing first rate work as you go. Stay Safe, keep posting and I'll keep watching 🙏👍
It's weird that your hard work is always so calming for me (probably because I don't have to do it 😂) but your videos are always giving me the cozy vibes and I take notes for my own home renovation coming up in the next few years. As always you did a great job especially with all the diy and upcycling
What a great piece of furniture! Nothing beats handcrafted. I'm sure your van building experience helped. I'd also like to say I like your nature shots you use as transitionals between segments. It reminds me of what animes will use for the same purpose.
I love your green dress . Good work on the bench . I like that color you painted it . Thanks for this video ,it was fun watching . You both have a great week . ❤❤
I Absolutely LOVE Your 🦆🦆🦆 They R Absolutely Adorable 💯 ❤️. I Love Your Breakfast Nook U 2 Work So Great Together ❤️. Hugs n Love Always From Your Friend In Michigan Tam ❤️ 💖 💗 💕
I am enjoying these videos so much. You are both proving to be highly skilled and highly adaptable ultimately making a success of everything that you attempt. Elli is an absolute delight and the more screen time she is willing to do the better. The two of you, ably supported by Eliza and the ducks, make for a wonderful team. Thank you for sharing this part of you life with us all.
A beginner plasterer (I did the intro course of a week & like 6 actual projects) like myself would probably take like 45-60min for the bigger wall to put all the plaster and flatten it. The smoothing, etc is based on the plaster time, like your rotband, I'd probably be like 1h 30min in before I finish it (spack & sponze).
You and Ellie are doing a marvellous job building your kitchen of your dreams. Great planning! You got the plot right from the start, just like an ace writer and worked hard until ... eventual completion. I am so proud of both of you for going so far! 😀 Btw, I posted a comment on your previous vlog. After that, I took my (helicopter) pilot exam and passed. Happy days to you, and Elsa and you adorable ducks. Much love, Wendi 🌻🌻🌻🦆❤
PS. The rail above your kitchen bench seat can be fixed to the wall first with adhesive-backed velcro. Attach adhesive-backed velcro to the rail and bingo! No screws needed. 😁
My favorite part of your property is the garden and the ducks.❤️ You did a great job on the bench, your skills seem to expand by the week. And that’s my favorite color of green. Get some thicker back pillows so you don’t end up with back pain. Can’t wait for the next video! Auf Wiedersehen.😊
You girls are doing a fantastic job. Trust the process ;) Elli, what is the pipe jutting out into your leg? Are you going to disguise that, or will it go away? And your stucco/spackle work is impressive. Maddie, I love the dreamy clips out in nature. Such a beautiful setting. Give Eliza a squeeze from SoCal.
You continue to do such an amazing job! The bench is so pretty and it'll be perfect in your lovely kitchen! The ducks are adorable as always, and so affectionate. I didn't know that! Good luck with the roof! Hugs to you both!
Nice to see that things are progressing in the kitchen, nice bench you made, will be a nice kitchen when it's finished, good luck with the roof and take care of each other, don't forget to take time for each other in the renovation chaos
loving the Reno you tow are doing, its so good, and I agree if you have a number of items that can be used ie the screws, then defo I would not be buying more, as long as they go into the wood and down split it then use away. but im just inspired to do things around my house because of you two, just started my pantry, and loving the fact im re-using using wood and items for the pantry, so saving monies as well and making sure things are not going in the landfill if they can be used, so thank you thank you thank you to both of you for inspiring us xxxxxxx
Hi Maddie and Ellie. Your home is progressing and your getting the experience of doing stuff. Your outside looks beautiful. I noticed broccoli and squash. What else did you plant?

Unfortunately, there r a few things I absolutely can't do, but don't have a partner. U gals did an amazing job with the bench seating & most of all I Love how u don't sweat the small stuff. Everything doesn't have to b perfect! It's so funny bcuz in my younger days I was a perfectionalist & now I definitely don't sweat the small stuff. My how I have changed...😂
Hello ladies maybe I missed a video but I wanted to ask if you will ever do a cost breakdown? I know this is always a van life thing but I am curious about cost differences between USA and Germany. I absolutely love your videos and love the real honesty. Thank You both…. P.S. Please give Eliza a treat from her US fans!!!
