@@markcoloway what's the relation of cricket and olympics?
How success in cricket will give you olympics medal when it's not there.
      Unfair comparison.
And last time England won cricket world cup and they are doing good in olympics. So stop these comparisons.
Those countries have infrastructure for those sports that's why they get success.
And even in England two main sports are Football and cricket but then also they are good in olympics. Why?
Same thing they have infrastructure for other sports as well. So stop criticizing any sports for fall of other sports, rather do for betterment of sports that's lagging.
For cricket gives money to government whereas in other sports government needs to give money.
So here is the deal instead of critizing cricket, use cricket for betterment of other sports. Generate fund from cricket for other sports and make infrastructure for other sports. Even BCCI is ready for it. In 2008 BCCI gave 50 crores to the sports ministry and formed a joint committee for betterment of other sports but the then sports minister MS Gill betrayed BCCI and used that money somewhere else and hence BCCI stopped giving fund. Out of those 50 crores only 8 crores were used for sports and they got to know it via RTI.
So government needs to have pact again and start raising fund for infrastructure of sports.

I give India 2-3 more Olympic games to really start showing up and competing. A little too late, but it's high time now. Also, found it quite cringe-worthy, how the news "anchor" is trying to provoke the guest, to get a more juicy response form him.

      Hahha.
She is Nidhi the great fraud. She claimed she had a job at Harvard university as a professor of journalism.
Turns out it was fraud claim and she faced national embarrassment.
Now we know she has no integrity and still she is an anchor. How is it possible. Goal post is open and rich people are scoring and she is on the job.

You may think their job is to report the news. But, there real job is to hikjack your amygdala and elicit a response. This is where their real business model lies.
