Anyone noticed how in this performance Mercedes is giving it her all but they always called her lazy. She wasn’t lazy she was just tired of being back up.
If they wanted the New Direction's win to be more realistic, they shouldn't have made this performance *so* iconic. It's honestly one of the best show choir performances in the entire show.
The only reason this didn't win is that the producers only gave them one song and the ND three. They knew that if they were equally matched the ND didn't stand a single chance against the powerhouse that Mercedes and Santana together.

That moment was so sweet! He’s so amazing, look at his completely non-toxic masculinity! And it’s pretty consistent too, like when Blaine admits his crush on him and Sam’s not bothered at all, he’s just nice about it.
Samir santana and mercedes were two of the strongest voices in glee club, ND realistically had no chance. Not “girl power” they gave a better performance and especially with Rachel not performing the ND only won because of the plot

TT had the strongest singers for the song, everyone was dancing (and it looked professional compared to whatever the hell Finn was doing) and it was one of the strongest and most powerful sets we saw in the show honestly. And ND had a pretty good set but the Troubletones were so much better
Why did they have to break this group up? This is a strong group of women who ALL have powerful vocals! It also gives other people who aren’t usually the main characters, like Rachel and Finn, all of the solos.

This makes me realize that the ND never had real choreography- they would just all move around in unison and then take a stance to create the illusion that there was choreography, while Mike or Brittany did some dance moves here and there.
Well these are all cheerleaders with the exception of Mercedes. And when ND started training she quit! If one needs to have a leading role on stage to give their all and become better, they won't make it the real world

I love the implication that Santana sabotages literally everyone trying to get her spotlight but she’s the only one who elevates Mercedes into doing her thing because she acknowledges her talent.
I kinda wish Sugar wasn’t a background character. She was so funny and very giving. And when her voice was really bad I feel like she could’ve stayed to have her voice develop then maybe she’d actually get a solo. I feel like she could’ve sang really good. Just my opinion.

3:46- 3:51 that walk showcases Naya's natural ability to perform and be a star in literally 5 seconds. She was the best triple threat (and honestly? Probably the most talented too) on this show and I'll stand by that
Judges were wrong for picking ND. Not only did the troubletones have amazing vocals, they also had kick ass choreography, which honesty shows so much more talent
Cause everyone remembers the troubletones performance but barely anybody can remember the 3 songs that ND performed without looking it up. The troubletones ate them up with just one song mashup compared to their 3

Plus, 2 of 3 of their songs individually were longer than trouble tones full performance & it isn’t the same as vocal adrenaline’s season 1 regional performance cos that was a 5 min performance, with outstanding vocals in Jessie st James & choreography with the emotions as well…

New directions dancing was better. What troubletones did was repetitive, you can ask any dancer haha. Yet they were great, but the hole package of new directions (more voices singing, and more dancing steps) won. But I agree it was a close one.

I was always annoyed by how Fin said the new directions were gonna win while watching this performance, and then was validated when the New Directions won. Rubbed me the wrong way, especially when the Troubletones were better. As well as invalidating the reason why the girls left the New Directions. Nothing changed about why they left to begin with once they came back to them.
Especially Finn who had the weakest male voice of the ND lol Blaine Kurt Artie all sung waaaay better. Like dude, you can't dance for sh*t and are an average singer. Be quiet and watch these girls perform like you never could

Because if the troubletones would have won the new directions would be eliminated and the ending wouldn't be right. I find that like in the season they both should've gone forward. New directions performed three songs while the troubletones only performed one. And the one was so much better than the three combined.

Unfortunately it was season 3 and that was the last nationals, if they win the New Directions wouldn’t have gone to the Nationals, and we all needed that performance too. So it was for plot, but we all agree that they should’ve won.

The Troubletones had everything a great show choir needs: Choreo, blending of voices, killer soloists, interesting song choice, and good costumes(That can actually be part of what’s judged). The New Directions had choreo that looked like a joke, decent blending, boring song choice, and meh costumes. If this were real, the Troubletones would’ve won, the New Directions wouldn’t have even made it past districts.
I remember when this aired and blew me away. I started crying when Brittany and Santana danced together. Any number with Naya in it was sure to be amazing, it was one of the things I look most forward to each week, Naya singing and Brittana. Nayas engery chemistry with everybody and talents made her an easy favorite. Even after Glee and all these years I couldn’t not be a ride or die fan. This is a devastating loss. Nayas may be gone but she will never be forgotten. I will always remember that spark and energy. I will cherish what she was able to share with us during her time here. I just pray and hope for sweet Josey and Nayas loved ones.

New directions dancing was better. What troubletones did was repetitive, you can ask any dancer haha. Yet they were great, but the hole package of new directions (more voices singing, and more dancing steps) won. But I agree it was a close one.

I was always annoyed by how Fin said the new directions were gonna win while watching this performance, and then was validated when the New Directions won. Rubbed me the wrong way, especially when the Troubletones were better. As well as invalidating the reason why the girls left the New Directions. Nothing changed about why they left to begin with once they came back to them.
Especially Finn who had the weakest male voice of the ND lol

Unfortunately it was season 3 and that was the last nationals, if they win the New Directions wouldn’t have gone to the Nationals, and we all needed that performance too. So it was for plot, but we all agree that they should’ve won.

The Troubletones had everything a great show choir needs: Choreo, blending of voices, killer soloists, interesting song choice, and good costumes(That can actually be part of what’s judged). The New Directions had choreo that looked like a joke, decent blending, boring song choice, and meh costumes. If this were real, the Troubletones would’ve won, the New Directions wouldn’t have even made it past districts.
This was one of my favorite performances on the show and definitely my favorite outfit ever

This performance only proves the fact that both Mercedes and Santana were extremely underrated throughout the whole series
I remember when this aired and blew me away. I started crying when Brittany and Santana danced together. Any number with Naya in it was sure to be amazing, it was one of the things I look most forward to each week, Naya singing and Brittana. Nayas engery chemistry with everybody and talents made her an easy favorite. Even after Glee and all these years I couldn’t not be a ride or die fan. This is a devastating loss. Nayas may be gone but she will never be forgotten. I will always remember that spark and energy. I will cherish what she was able to share with us during her time here. I just pray and hope for sweet Josey and Nayas loved ones.
