I get chills anytime I hear these stories of how the creative process happened for these classics! Leroy Burgess! One of the giants still among us! I was honored to meet him many years ago. And And everything he wrote, produced, sang or otherwise worked on, is in my vinyl archives! Peace and Respect!

Ooo Ooo ! ! ! i love behind the scene's type stories on how things get done, i like the part of how "PUT YOUR HANDS UP IN THE AIR" because, i also think of the rap parts of MUST BE THE MUSIC and LAST NIGHT A DJ SAVED MY LIFE!!!!! i remember way back thinking to myself ," theses people must be connected to or are trying to be connected to the rap scene".

From Fly Girl to Let’s Do It to More Than a Million to Mainline, to Moment of my Life the genius mix stirred like cake batter of jazz, funk with piano arrangements of gospel, r&b, classical rhythmically perfect. Leroy Burgess is undeniably a Master. Before Pharrell, Timbaland, Swizz, Dog Child, there was Leroy Burgess 🎤🤴🏾💫🎹🎶🎵🎼🎤🎧🎸🎹🎻🎺🎷🤴🏾🎤🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

It's crazy because every song from over like a fat rat to Rick james big-time had this man's pen & I didn't know until recently that this was leroy's pen..... If you love this song check out the album to it by logg.

The truth is none of these brother s are these great musician? Artists creativity geniuses never learn formally. They just play from the spirit. That's the difference between all you cookie cut boys that your parents pay for your dues. And those that just start from nothing with the love and the passion and the spirit from above to bring such a beautiful sound and tone with the great Sonics that just make us want more
