    Sometimes I wish they would let the people take them for a short walk first, and then go into the pen.

    I was surprised the lady didn't take Lola she is adorable! It does take a bit of time for puppies and older dogs. Glad the couple got a lovely vizsla dog!

    They expect the dog to bond straight away some times it takes time , my jack Russell puppy just bonded with my other two older females who mothered her , I just took her out walking without them and then we bonded , unfortunately now there is just the two of us and we have great long walks .

    The meeting pen is great but it is very large to call it a meeting pen. It's more like a sniffing pen. So I'm think if you took the dogs in to the pen first and let them sniff around a little while before the dogs meet the families

      That's such a great idea! They either need a smaller meeting pen with less distractions or have the dog and handler spend time there first before the families join them and meet the dog
