The one and only. I had the pleasure of meeting these gentlemen and being on programs with them. Mr. Howard Carroll was a real big influence on my guitar playing I never heard anyone play like him. Mr. Ira Tucker was a phenomenal singer but my favorite of the group was James Walker he was a monster when he hit the floor. God broke the mold after he made them.

When he was a young,
And precious *Celestial Pearl he,
Became part of The Dixie Humming Birds,
Without a fee.
His dear Mama gave to him,
Her blessed green light to,
Glow forth with The Birds musical,
Gospel Crew.
Just a few days aglow we,
Celesbrated with love's bliss,
His Heavenly birthday,
Yet his presence,
We yet miss.
Yes, on May 17th
Abba showed up,
As Ira Tucker to at The Gospel table,
Sit and sup.
This is Part One of,
The onederful precious awesome story,
Of Elder Sir Brother Ira Tucker who faithfully sang,
All to Abba's glory.

Himself as glowing backward-forward as,
Humming Birds fly!
*Greatness is one word,
That comes to my mind,
Was Sir Howard-Highly-Anointed,
Yet, ever so kind!
For sure The Heavens,
As Him made love's mark,

I smile as his unique tenorful voice,

As us Dixie Hummingbirds fanatics celebrate,
Their 90th year!
I've spent many years trying,
To unsuccessfully sing,
