I used to love it so freaking much. I remember watching Glee and thinking 'oh wow, this reminds me of Popular' and then the same with Scream Queens. I'm so damn happy Ryan Murphy exists and keeps on creating such amazing TV shows.

@@x_demighoul_x yes so true! I used to think no one else had seen it, but then my new friend said "there was a show I loved when I was younger, you may be too young to remember it. It was called Popular." And I flipped out. We watched my Popular DVD together as a throwback. Yes, I have the DVDs lol. It turns out I have other friends who have seen it to. Popular was the most influential show on me of all the shows I've ever seen.

@@danielg.5070 They remake everything so yes I do think eventually it will be brought back. Ryan Murphy who was actually the reason the show existed in the first place is actually one of the people involved with all the remakes and culture around that right now so he will definitely get to it I promise you that.

The very first scripted series for Ryan Murphy, a former newspaper editor and editor for EW. This was in 1999.
I was in fifth grade when this aired. Loved this intro so much even though the themes of the show were a bit mature for me still. I remember when Harrison had leukemia, it was devastating. Eventually served Carly Pope in a serving gig I had a couple years ago! She was very nice and cordial.
I do wish this show would have gotten more than two seasons

She was injured in the accident and had to live for a while being "ugly". That's what the writer said he wanted to do.
Brooke died. The end.
The show was canceled but it did show some potential . Too bad it was axe too fast

They *had* to end the second season with a cliffhanger and then cancel the show. That really sucked but it wouldn't have been the first time something like that happened, that's show business for ya. This show was both hilarious and in some ways, well ahead of its time, perhaps that's why it got cancelled, the world just wasn't ready for some of the concepts and themes it brought to the television screen, only to see these concepts and themes years later on shows like Glee and The Modern Family (among others).

***** You know, watching some of the episodes as an adult, I've realized just how educational and very relating the show was toward the teenage crowd. One of my favorite episodes was the Christmas Carol parody type episode they did.

As a 6th grader I had no idea who these people were or what this show was lol so random
