Tim - every time you ask Whitney how she’s feeling and if she’s okay.. it’s so special. You two are magic. Just binged this all in less than a week. I’m onto the Hills recaps immediately. Whitney - I laughed, I cried, I sang along. Watching The City gave me major goals then and I even did a merchandising internship in ny because of it. I work in healthcare now and I love coming home to basically hang with you.
It's such a beautiful thing to see such a supportive husband. He can turn anything into a positive and its exactly how partners should treat one another. You can feel how much you guys love and adore each other.
Ah you guys you need to know... it’s a hard weekend for me. 6 years ago on Sunday my grandpa passed away. We were super close... I’ve just spent the evening (Friday night dinner with my family including my grandma). My grandparents were together for 61 years and I’m recently engaged. My fiancé didn’t get to meet my grandpa before he passed; we met one year later. But anyway, I pray to have such a happy long lasting marriage. I got home and was excited to watch this reaction video, turned it on, I missed the live as I’m in the UK. Anyways, TIMMY, your T-shirt.... Sammy, was my grandpas name and now I’m balling 😢 but like a happy emotional cry like he’s saying hey to me and looking over me. Such a comfort and sorry for the long story. Great episode as always but thanks you guys 💕💕💕
I went to the Whitney Eve show room when I lived in LA! Loved my pieces I got when I was in college! You are a great designer Whitney don’t knock yourself down! Now as a mom I’d love that lounge wear line! I’m thinking Whitney Eve Lounge is a must!! Xo
I would love to see you do one final 'reacting' video after you've watched the last episode where you recap and reflect on any of the memories and behind the scenes things you haven't already covered!
I’m so sad that these reactions will be ending soon! You two are so funny and I’m thankful to have happened upon the channel at the beginning of the year. Y’all have made this crazy time of life not so unbearable. Thank you!!!
@@cate4338 I guess the way they presented it on the show, it was like Whit was doing 100% of her stuff and nothing with the PR biz...but even if it was 50/50 and she was paid pro-rata, then it makes some sense.
Timmy’s narration of what happens on these episodes KILLS ME!!!! I am going to miss that SO MUCH! “Love the shoes, love the dress, love the earrings, love the statement necklace....literally everything EXCEPT the jacket!” I cannot handle it!! Whitney-my heart goes out to you. This industry seems BRUTAL and you took that HATER, Olivia, with a level head. Seriously, everything about her makes me sick and she seems like an incredibly TOXIC person.
It was never about your clothes, Olivia was jealous of you. Your designs are gorgeous and fashion is subjective but you can tell for Olivia hating your stuff is personal.
I love this extra large cup of water. I need it! Loved the Lauren interview and IG video. Love you guys! “Should we go to les deux” best Timmy line to date
I wanna know if Timmy has stories of the public ruining a shot or going up to the camera and saying something. I know they would have gotten cut out but it would be interesting to hear that side of it!
Any way you could get an interview with Erin Kaplan, like a life update? Were so updated in her character development & she just kinna fell off the reality tv realm lol
I give it to Timmy & all the crew who had to create this. Getting the talent to play ball, I can imagine, was not simple. 👏👏 Way to go... Not enough recognition goes to those who create behind the scenes. You guys rocked it, the show speaks to that for sure!
After this series can we do a Q and A about The City? We all have so many of the same questions! - Did kelly profit from whitney eve? or help out of the goodness of her heart? - How long were whitney and Roxy roommates? Was it a 2 bedroom apartment? Could whit afford the rent alone after roxy moved out? - Was the roxy/whitney fight producer driven? - Was roxy hired more as a cast member than a peoples rev employee?
Keep your head up! I agree that fashion is subjective. On the same note, you’ve gotten validation from so many fashion elites. That’s amazing! Looking forward to your next venture ... especially if it’s cozy, comfortable loungewear. We need it now more than ever.
This is my absolute favorite thing to watch on yt. It’s not allowed to end! 😩 your chemistry is awesome, I always feel like I’m sitting with two friends!
I just wanted to say thank you guys for taking the time to do these videos. I've grown up watching The Hills and The City religiously and I would always look up paparazzi photos of the cast filming and was always so interested in how they filmed the show. So to have Whitney who was in front of the camera, and hear her input about how the show was filmed, and also have Timmys input from working behind the camera is a really cool experience to watch and is very interesting to listen to behind the scenes info. Not to mention Timmy is hilarious and Whitney is so sweet and you can just see in her eyes she has such a sweet soul. So thank you, your videos always put me in a better mood during this time. I really hope you do recaps of The Hills its special to us fans who watched growing up and new fans I'm sure. Keep doing what you guys are doing cause you do it well. :)
Please can you say why this season ended so abruptly? It seemed like it wasn't on that long and why didn't you carry on filming? The series ended when it could have gone on a lot longer.
I really love the BTS commentary of this, it makes me appreciate The City even more, the nostalgia hits hard especially during a pandemic. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, and giving us the inside scoop and being upfront and honest when things weren’t picture perfect. What are we going to do after the last episode?? React to episodes of the OG Hills???
Thanks for the insights from Timmy. It was very interesting to hear him speak about his job as producer on The City. I'd love to know more of his professional journey. How did he start in the business? What was the best/worst for him being on the show? If he wasn't working with Whitney eight now, whould he consider going back to producing reality tv etc? This was a great episode to watch. Thanks guys.
I got to be honest 18:40 felt really really good / sad for me. As a teen when all this was super popular I really really loved Whitney. Even though I'm a black gay guy, I saw myself in her and I saw my friends in her. I wanted her to win. It frustrated me when I saw the price points of her clothes and at the time I couldn't understand it. OF course I do now. But then it really bummed and frankly pissed me off when she didn't make it in the world of fashion. And I always felt her consumer goal was wrong. And to hear her say "I would have done it the way Lauren did it." That makes me feel good and extremely sad at the same time.
I need the loungewear!! It's so cool getting to hear you catch up with Lauren. I'm around your age and watched laguna beach, the hills and the city. I have 2 kids now too so it's like I grew up with you guys and now catching up with old friends.
I thinkmthe disconnect with Whitney Eve was that girls like me lovvvvved it but I was in college at the time and couldn't afford a $200-$300 piece, I think many of your fans were in a similar position of your line not being in their budget as well as that your line primarily carried in high end retailers and boutiques that were only accessible in major cities.Lauren on the other hand launched in a big box retailer with really low prices (Kohl's always had sales) so that younger demographic even in smaller towns had access to purchase and would spend $200-$300 in back to school shopping but be able to purchase multiple pieces. I always hoped you would do a diffusion line for Target (remember those?) Your stuff was incredible! You just didn't get a fair shake because of your association with being an MTV reality star, people were pretty harsh on reality stars back then and now I think it's changed and someone can launch from reality and be taken seriously. You really are talented and now I could afford to purchase the more expensive pieces. If you think about it all your fans from The Hills/City are grown up now and many have much more buying power than they did when you had Whitney Eve. I would love to see you have another go at designing a line!
Thank you for these videos!!! Speaking as someone who has never actually seen a full episode of this show before now, this is truly like a very unconventional form of therapy and I wish we could all live lives looking back at our recorded interactions, past behaviours (good AND bad), and our past interpersonal blind spots, because it looks to be such health learning and growth!!! I truly weep with laughter at both of your critical commentaries every single time.
I just love you guys as a couple! You really get each other and Timmy listens so intently to everything Whitney says...so cute! I can tell you have a lot of respect and admiration for each other.
I just binged every episode in two days. I have enjoyed immensely and am definitely bummed that there is only one episode left. MAYBE WATCH KELL ON EARTH NEXT!!!
Hearing you tell Timmy what you wish you would’ve done regarding your direction in fashion and you saying expensive loungewear and me admiring cozeco now 😍🥰
Thanks for making me feel old Timmy, I LOVED Thirtysomething, I was in high school when that was a on. Love Ken Olin and every one of his shows, especially This is Us and Brothers & Sisters. Roxy looks so much like her mom! What a talented family!
I don’t think I’m alone in hoping you’ll react to your favorite episodes of The Hills (First day at Teen Vogue, Paris, your night(s) at Les Deux with the rest of the cast, your shoots with Lauren Howell, presenting to Amy Astley, first day at People’s Rev, that awkward party at Doug’s)
Erin is amazing, Head of Publicity. Such a professional character. Everyone is so supportive of Whitney but Olivia. It's so silly! Being in a very competitive industry myself I realized a long time ago it's all about connections, your network and being supportive of other people.
If you took the tags off your whitney eve line and then showed Olivia, would she have liked it?? you should have tested that back then hahaha I'm going to be so sad when this series is over :(
Jeez! So I’ve been watching y’all for months now and I love reliving these iconic moments with you both. First - Timmy is hysterical and I love that he stands up for Whit all the time. Olivia is her own person and she has her own vibe and it’s whatever but she was unnecessarily downplaying Whit’s line for truly no good reason. Thank you Timmy for making a joke of it because that behavior is hurtful and lame. Second - “So tell me about Twilight!” 🤣🥴🥴🥴🥴
I would love to see what Whitney would design today! I saw your stuff for rent the runway, and loved it! I would love to see what Whitney Eve would look like today 💖
I hope you guys continue the reaction videos! You both are naturals :) I know you guys work together but I’m curious how you split the day to day work responsibilities. Maybe you could share in a live. Thanks again for the entertainment 😊

Also...need merch that says “I could talk to a park bench”
😂😂😂😂
Omg lol I would buy that 😭😭😭
Ah you guys you need to know... it’s a hard weekend for me.
Whitney and Timmy have such a great dynamic. You guys always make my day
Timmy is the vibe that everyone needs in 2020
Wasn’t Roxy on The Hills too!? Like the friend of Stephanie Pratt… Am I just now realizing this 😅😅
She was !!! I have been watching the hills on Hulu also and I saw that and was like OMGG it’s her
Whitney replied to a comment on another video and said Roxy and Stephanie were best friends :)
How about a tee-shirt with Kelly in the moving truck to Madagascar?! 😁
Kelly would never allow it LOL
I went to the Whitney Eve show room when I lived in LA! Loved my pieces I got when I was in college! You are a great designer Whitney don’t knock yourself down! Now as a mom I’d love that lounge wear line! I’m thinking Whitney Eve Lounge is a must!! Xo
Please do it Whitney!!!! Ur style and taste is so good!
I would love to see you do one final 'reacting' video after you've watched the last episode where you recap and reflect on any of the memories and behind the scenes things you haven't already covered!
Great idea!!!
"this does not jive in my Canadian nice brain" ughh Timmy is hilarious 😂
I’m so sad that these reactions will be ending soon! You two are so funny and I’m thankful to have happened upon the channel at the beginning of the year. Y’all have made this crazy time of life not so unbearable. Thank you!!!
I remember trying to figure out where to buy your clothes and ranting on my tumblr about it 💀
WHITNEY, you look great. Your makeup, something, everything. You just look beautiful! Keep these vids coming or I might just die of sadness.
I can't stop laughing about Timmy's comment about Olivia "i love everything but the jacket" omg ... LOL I'm dying
ok...serious question...did Kelly get a piece of the Whitney Eve business, or was she just mentoring out of the goodness of her heart???
@@cate4338 I guess the way they presented it on the show, it was like Whit was doing 100% of her stuff and nothing with the PR biz...but even if it was 50/50 and she was paid pro-rata, then it makes some sense.
Kelly was great friends with Whitney's family so they had a relationship for a long time outside of the show
@@Kim-mk7pb Ahhh..that makes sense. Strangers are seldom that kind and helpful. Connections and networks matter.
NEVER👏🏾ENDING👏🏾 I look forward to these every Wed and Fri!! You guys are such a joy to watch. Pls do The Hills next!
We need direct feedback from Olivia. Oh ya, she couldn't talk to us because we're not park benches.
Timmy saying his day was crazy and taking a 1,5 hour nap is literally me on a college day every day 😂
Any way you could get an interview with Erin Kaplan, like a life update? Were so updated in her character development & she just kinna fell off the reality tv realm lol
She had left Elle and went to Teen Vogue and then Allure.but now she’s with Architectural Digest
The way Timmy communicates with Whitney is so loving and caring and open .....it just makes me so happy - I’m so happy they found each other 🤍🤍
I give it to Timmy & all the crew who had to create this.
Olivia is so rude during that shoot 😢 I remember seeing Whitney eve in glamour UK and loving every single piece especially the white blazer 💓💓
Please can you say why this season ended so abruptly? It seemed like it wasn't on that long and why didn't you carry on filming? The series ended when it could have gone on a lot longer.
PLEASE PLEASE do more of these reaction videos when The City ends! I look forward to watching these all the time✌🏼
LOL TIMMY AND THE TRUCKER HAT HAHAH oh man best of the whole video
When you guys drank that water at the beginning I crave ice cold water so badly 😂
never ending for me!!! the hills next would be amazing!
Will you ever do a watch through of the OG Hills? Would love to see that! Keep up the incredible work!
Just listened to the Lauren Conrad episode! Loved it!!! Love watching The Hills, The City and these reactions 😁😁💜💜
The impersonations of Kelly are my absolute favorite 😂😂
I’m rewatching these… and Timmy is just GOLDEN. 😂 ‘wanna go to le deux’
Always loved how Erin was so supportive of Whit
Roxy's pink hair tie is it's own character at this point
Thanks for the insights from Timmy. It was very interesting to hear him speak about his job as producer on The City. I'd love to know more of his professional journey. How did he start in the business? What was the best/worst for him being on the show? If he wasn't working with Whitney eight now, whould he consider going back to producing reality tv etc?
This was a great episode to watch. Thanks guys.
Thank you for sharing Whitney!Hope everybody here becomes successful on TH-cam
I’ve always wondered - does the show pick up restaurant or bar bills when you’re shooting a scene?
Great question
They sure did!
JOE YES!!!!! He did such an amazing job encouraging Whitneys line!!!
Was the "roxy is sneaking around my back looking at apartments" staged? What is she supposed to do when you tell her to move out?
I just love you guys as a couple! You really get each other and Timmy listens so intently to everything Whitney says...so cute! I can tell you have a lot of respect and admiration for each other.
Thirtysomething was my favorite show. It was on from 1987-1991 - ya, I'm old.
I’m 37, I remember my parents watching that show!
I’m 47, LOVED that show. The episode when Gary died 😢. Years later, my ex-husband, Michael, cheated on me with my best friend, Hope...
Shoutout from London! Timmy's witty/sarcastic comments make my day.
I just found your TH-cam channel and I was so excited to watch. I've been binge watching. ❤
I just binged every episode in two days. I have enjoyed immensely and am definitely bummed that there is only one episode left.
MAYBE WATCH KELL ON EARTH NEXT!!!
Love the sound of this Whitney Port luxury lounge wear idea 🙌🏻
She may have great taste BUT her taste is not the end all be all..... The fashion industry is so much bigger than one person's taste/opinion!
Hearing you tell Timmy what you wish you would’ve done regarding your direction in fashion and you saying expensive loungewear and me admiring cozeco now 😍🥰
Thanks for sharing more behind the camera info timmy! Always love it! I find it so interesting!
I love my fiancé and I think he is the most supportive man ever. But I LOVE the way Timmy supports you always. Its so sweet to see
LOL !!! Timmy ! I love the sock - laughing so much at his commentary.
Thanks for making me feel old Timmy, I LOVED Thirtysomething, I was in high school when that was a on. Love Ken Olin and every one of his shows, especially This is Us and Brothers & Sisters. Roxy looks so much like her mom! What a talented family!
this was maybe one of the best/funniest/most interesting episodes yet
Omg is this when CozeCo was created? The best of the best in lounge wear. I just added the organic sweat pants to my collection!
Im a regular Timmy and Whit! Love your reaction series, sad to see this coming to an end. Would love to see reaction to the hills og series!
I’ve loved every second of this.
Your hair was beautiful.
I hope you guys continue the reaction videos! You both are naturals :)
I know you guys work together but I’m curious how you split the day to day work responsibilities. Maybe you could share in a live. Thanks again for the entertainment 😊
@33:08 "It's just this Giant BAG ARGH" 😂🙈😆❤️ HAHAA HILARIOUS
“That is one of the most diesel sharpies… You could definitely sniff that thing and get high” 😂😂 god I am just loving you guys!! Being 100 years pregnant and not being able to sleep has been miserable but finding these reaction videos have been giving me life. Thank you! And thank you Whitney for sharing your glorious smartass husband! Yous guys are amazing!
