If there was ever a time where I could forgive someone for snapping, I think that's it. Especially if that's the first time she's ever done it. WHEN IT COMES TO KEEP TALENT from causing PR disaster problems and providing proper support to Talent that can have issues managing that if they were to go (or did have done) solo/Indie. The thing is thus whether or not the Person behind the Vtuber character is able to avoid/disengage those PR hellholes properly without a Manager and Big Corpo backing them.
Kson did quite the job, but even so the time she spent at Hololive brought quite the benefits (A large audience got to know the "style", learnt quite a lot to enhance the content/backstage work) to when she came back... so i guess the time she spent there also brought the expertise to handle by herself all parts of being an Online personality....

You can't just report to your supervisor like "Uh I didn't want to disturb her about work because she was sick" and not expect to be fired.
I worked at a travel agency and I get phone calls all-day when I'm on break or on holidays, because if they don't reach me, some innocent client might be stuck at an airport or be unable to receive their passports back.

To be fair things tend to happen pretty quickly in their line of work. I wouldn't be surprised if her manager was just trying to keep her in the loop/on schedule without realizing how it could be received.
just as an example, it could be like "oh lets remind her of this meeting coming up" then a couple hours later they get confirmation of a sponsorship deal, then an invitation to a special event, oh i just got word we will have to reschedule that trip to the office.
Next thing you know they've sent a bunch of messages in a few hours and spammed her. I've been in this position before and realized I've spammed a bunch of emails without realizing it.
To be fair the manager could have been operating on autopilot and not been taking into consideration that Korone was supposed to be on break, but i'm sure there were things that would require Korone's input that had probably been in motion before Korone went on break.
