Just under 2 minutes in and I HAD to pause the vid to say: I just got a new folding e-bike (Magicycle brand) and have DESPERATELY been wanting to switch to handlebars that are slightly swept back rather than the stock “straight across” handlebars. From watching a bunch of e-bike vids, you wound up in my feed and I am SOOOOO glad!!! I grew up riding bikes with handlebars shaped something like your new ones (and I rode kinda low on what they called “banana” seats back then. [sorry, I’m showing my old age… Google it!😂😂😂]), and I had given up all hope of EVER finding handlebars like that ever again since I will prolly NEVER ride a BMX bike!!!!!😂😂😂 Thanks so much for posting, I’m going to check out the link you provided. I swapped out my handlebars on my XPremium and what a difference it made. I have some curved back handlebars. Now when I start out on a ride I am smiling right off the back because the handlebars feel so great! And I changed the grips to some 8 dollar grips from WalMart and really love them too. This does make my bike a little harder to fold up and put in my car though, but it was worth it. Nice video. You cracked me up when you said you were lost and you were so close to home. LOL

Use fine grain sandpaper on both brake pads and the rotors, then clean them to get all the grit off. It's the miniscule particles embedded in the brakes that causes the squeaking. Cleaning helps but doesn't get rid of embedded particles. Wider handle bars provide better turning stability.
Thanks for the advice! Yea the last time I cleaned them I saw a lot of build up. I’ll definitely be doing this often.

Honestly neither did I. I really don’t mess around with bikes like that. Usually, how they come is how I leave them. This makes me even more curious as to what I should upgrade on this thing.

Down that one hill I can hit about 30-35. That’s scary sometimes but the next bike I want can max speed 45. I’ll definitely have to start wearing full body protection. Thanks Cypress for watching!

They definitely are. It takes away from the ride. Still fun nonetheless but yea it’s a definite upgrade in the future.

I didn’t upgrade the speed. I’m actually just using everything stock when it comes to power. Glad the videos make you happy.
Get some uv sun protection arm sleeves for your arms

lol not a horn a bell. Makes a little ding sound. I DO have a horn but it’s a little obnoxious when I use it.
will this work with an ebike that doesn't have any curve , just straight horizontal bar ?
It should I would think. The bundle is really advertised as a bmx look, where the stem allows the bars to fold. To double check I’d check out his channel “David Brand New” and ask him directly.

It was really designed for people to get rid of that standard giraffe neck stem that comes with a lot of e-bikes without losing the ability to fold.
It doesn't look like he is stocking anything anymore. Do you know of any alternatives. With no stock i think he's probably closing up shop and don't want to risk a pre-order. Thanks.
No he isn’t closing up. I don’t know any alternatives but when I orders I received it within a week. Comment on one of his posts and I’m sure he’ll reply back with more info. ☺️
No, he isn't closing! I ordered Turtle Neck FX (stem only) on June 11 and just received yesterday, July 15th. Yes, it takes awhile as these are specially made and he runs out quick! It's well worth the wait! I'm ordering a new stem and bars from Source BMX and it should be quicker in receiving my new stem and bars to complete my mods.

Ya its gonna be your pads, Watching your most recent vid and seeing you put 1000 miles on the bike you definitely need to have them replaced....they are super cheap.

Who is 2024 would still buy lectric ? There is bikes you can buy for half the price that are 2 times better with much better features .
lol oh believe me I’m in the market for a new one. There’s so many to choose from! I’ve had this for about 2 years now.
They released the 2.0 and it still remains a good budget option and they upgraded it enough to keep up with times.

@@kilowattgang nah . Not in my humble opinion. There's bikes with double the power and battery range with better front and back lights and 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203 size rotors that are the same price and cheaper than lectrics.
@@acerkrt show me a 1000 watt motor evoke with four piston hydraulic disc brakes and 203mm rotors for 800$
