Nice to see "The secret diary of Adrian Mole" :) Typical English humour in there...pretty entertaining ! They broadcast/read chapters from book on BBC radio 4 at breakfast time in the 80s, which I listened to with my Father before heading off for school myself ! Thanks for the entertaining video 👍 All the best....
I loved seeing your books!!! It's so awesome being able to find good books at Half Price Books, Goodwill and Thrift Books!!! That will be great when you can pick up more of your favorites that were left behind! I imagine now you know which ones you miss most or are harder to find!!! 📚 My husband likes a lot of sci-fi and fantasy series and books!
I love Thomas Hardy ( I see you have Tess of the d'Ubervilles) . Jude the Obscure is a masterpiece that I will probably never re-read (for obvious reasons).
Yes, thanks for sharing what you and James read. This can show a more private side of a person. For example I’m totally obsessed with Cryptonomicron, and Neil Stephenson’s books in general, but wouldn’t want anyone to know this. Lol Joking
@@ichirofakename I don’t think this is really an unusual reaction. Their structures with time jumps, completely different characters can appear a jumbled mess. A plot of pieces severely shaken then poured out of a sack to be read on the floor. Difficult to order, but rewarding when finished. This is just my opinion; mileage varies.

Somebody who reads fiction, yay! I'm in the middle of Brett Easton Ellis' latest, "The Shards". Same ol' subject, but now treated as personal memoir.

Gideon the Ninth is great! Your friends have good taste!
Highly questionable, I would say!

I love about half his books, and half I find unreadable.

The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, aged 13 3/4 is really funny and is the start of a series of about 5 or 6 comedies.
