I love to see all the high end pens on these videos, most of which I can’t afford…. 🤪 but it’s great to see Lamy and Twsbi in your video with such lovely inks!
Thanks for the viddy;lovely encre. ECO-T is my fave TWSBI. Cheap pens?! The ones I've been using lately are very inexpensive. Like under $5. My grail pen is a Sheaffer's PFM III;haven't found one I can afford yet(not giving up!) But in the meantime I have to say I absolutely LOVE the PFM's Chinese 2nd cousin twice removed;,the HERO 565. I like hooded nibs anyway;it's sort of PFM-ish,in a way. Like a thicker Parker 51. The three HERO 565s I have are very good writers with Diamine Oxford Bleu,R.Oster Tranquility, and Iro. yama-budo. Also, the Jinhao 82 with Medium nib has been in use a lot lately. The nib I find much nicer than their finer-size nibs. One of the 82s I swapped in a Kaweco 1.1mm stub. It's fun to play around/experiment with these pens. And it's doable at $3.29 per pen. The 82s are coming out in pastels/sparkles/mixed colors on one pen; aping the PG Slimness aesthetic. Yep,I'm using cheaper pens while my ridiculously expensive Sailor is in the shop. It writes great for about a half page then...nothing. No ink flow, even with multiple priming. C'est la vie. Just got a Leuchtturm1917 notebook;haven't written in it yet. If it's good enough for Neil Gaiman it's worth a try. Yes?
Really like the two Iroshizuku inks. Do not see link to Sheaffer review. Would like to watch if it is available. Always enjoy your videos so thanks for the effort.
That sheaffer is amazing 😍
