Watching this video has reminded me that along with the banner stencils I own, I also have a book that teaches how to draw initial letters like in medieval manuscripts. I used to use those with my headers when I first started bullet journaling. I'd forgotten these last couple of years and right now the book is packed away in one of a multitude of boxes as I prepare to move houses. Thank you the reminder. 😊
I have to chuckle a little about the slanted cursive because when I was a kid in 2nd grade, (in the US) about seven years old, it was the standard to write cursive with a forward slant, that's how the teacher taught us in school. I'll just say that was many years ago.
When you saw your elephant in your yellow scribbles, I saw an elephant in the other direction. Like an elephant plushie sitting with its trunk out. 💛 🐘
I think this is super satisfying. I remember taking pages of scratch paper and trying to come up with original fonts in 3rd grade when my BFF brought to school a book of all kinds of lettering styles. The book was "Letter Art" from the American Girl Library.
I love the real chunky style you do at 43:00 but I don't understand how you would do an O or an S. Do you have a video where you show that lettering being used with other letters?
Loved listening to this (& watching) while working on my journal and planner(s). My drink break was wine, though.

This video was super helpful. Just the demonstration I need to begin my 2025 BuJo. Thanks, Jashii!
Most welcome! 😄💜 Glad it was useful!
I got interrupted during the live and had to finish watching on the replay. You are so inspiring, thanks for this 💜

Drawing the ribbon header tip is helpful!
This is extremely helpful- yes, I understand about the string

This is an older video, so excuse the awkward voice, but here's the full alphabet: th-cam.com/video/smlzyRP9YRI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FH90loOWfnk6NKAK&t=959
