That’s not recycled ‘91 footage. That’s an excerpt from the current showtape playing (June/Patriotic 1993) where the cast member introduces the band and out next number. If you’re referring to the TV footage in the background of our cast member, that’s actually from the March-April 1993 (Spring Training) showtape.

I was three months old when this was video taped! Now I’m 27 years old! I remember seeing these particularly for my 5th birthday in 1998. I feel old!

Retaimes well a 32 movement today is basically like a 16 movement because they barley use any of the features now on it due to ware and tare and some movements they can use but they just don’t on studio c it’s the same movement head tilt eye brows and eyelids close and head turn same movements every second

They are somewhat uncanny in certain ways, but that didn't stop them from entertaining an audience back in the 1990's. Although they're not as good as the Rock Afire Explosion.

My parents during the 90s used to enjoy and watch the show since no phones existed like now. Watch the show or read newspapers like my dad did. Such different times

I wonder why did cec's art department Made them so weird, though jasper and helen don't look that bad
The reason why is because the characters the animatronics are made toblook like were portrayed by cyberamics before. When transfering the designes to fit on Rock Afire mechs they tried to make them still have a small resemblance to the cyberamic versions. The reasom why Helen and Jasper don't look weird is because that design of Helen was first designed on the 3 stage and modeled after Mitzi a Rock Afire character. And as for Jasper it was beacuse his cowboy clothes were first made for the 3 stage too and the mask was sculpted in a way that it still resembles the cyberamic without looking weird luckily.
@@musicbox2426 i know but didn't know it was that hard to fit a different animal design... it just clearly shows that their mechanisms just were not made to resemble their cosmetic redesign. Though i don't find it any hard for CEC to do some adjustments on the sizes of their mouth mechanism. (Well it would require the CU employees to start welding more metal to it or modify the hard locked distance of the mouth's cylinder.), if they did so, they would just deliver to all the showbiz pizza locations new mouths but enlarged. i still ask myself why CEC Finds it hard to keep their bots efficient.
I'm probs in the wrong if mass producing new of those mouth's n adjusments/modified parts required a machine as a small factory but they were just 200 locations, they would just need lots of employees making them.
@@ChiroTheSkunk I agree they should have made bigger mouth levers. I also have found the double eyelids that are sculpted into the masks weird. What is your opinion on the double eyelids?
@@musicbox2426 im pretty sure they were made just to fill their face features. without them their faces may look empty, but hey not a bad idea.
