Thank you so much for watching this video and for joining me on this rollercoaster through the history of VfB Stuttgart. I'm looking forward to watching history unfold once again from this awakening of a German Giant.
About halfway through making this video, I realized there was another creator who made one also.
I will leave the link to his video here: • VfB Stuttgart: The Rev...

    what a badly researched video

and he has the audacity to say "the fact that I even this much information on the internet is insane" LMAO

Yeah - it’s called tryna make a funny joke. Also there’s limited information on the internet. I went through multiple sources, even directly from the clubs website. I got every detail correct and included almost every single important event in the clubs history.
This isn’t a “badly researched video” you should try some of your own

@@soflosoccer honestly I was just really pissed of at some terrible things you said, the entire video isn't that bad, but since you're gonna be petty and actually claim you got every detail correct I'm gonna be petty too
1:15 I get you're trying to make the history brief but you're making it sound like the only they only made the decission to switch to football once they merged. One club was founded at as a rugby club and started playing football before the merger, the other team had always been a football club
1:45 it's Neckar, not Necktar and the stadium wasn't even named that in 1933, they got that name in 1949
06:28 kinda cutting history short again, he was facing major backlash at the club and was pretty much on the verge of beeing voted out when he "decided" to leave
06:42 small thing, but that's a weird picture to use with the timeline, also Rüdiger wasn't a local talent
07:50 you're making it sound like Lahm was one of those local talents who came through Stuttgarts academyy and only later moved to Bayern. Lahm was always a Bayern player, he was only on loan at Stuttgart for two season and returned to his parent club
08:00 talking about Veh as if came in as a saviour or visionary, he was only ever supposed to be an interim-coach until the found someone they actually wanted long term, which makes the story even greater
10:02 you're making it sound like those were bad deals, they weren't. With the food chain in football clubs like Stuttgart will always have to sell, it sucks, but that's the world we're living in. SO for clubs like Stuttgart it's all about getting as much as they can for the young players they develope, when the time comes and apart from maybe Rüdiger they did a really good job. The Kimmich deal was the best they could get probably if you actually look at the details and Leipzigs involvement, they had to sell Kostic when they got relegated and still got more then he was worth which isn't always the case when team get relegated. But your comments about Werner really pissed me off. 23 million is nothing??? it's actually a lot for a club like Stuttgart and it also happened to be almost 3x his market value when he left
12:00 minor, but Guirassy was already at the club last season, he was on loan and stuttgart triggered his option to buy this summer
12:45 tbf you say yourself it's just a theory, but I very strongly disagree, all 3 of them are performing incredible, but you're making it sound like they're carrying the team, which they most certainly are not. The double pivot of Karazor and Stiller, Antons leadership in defence, Nübel in goal and Mittelsädt on the left are just as important, Hoeneß was able to bring the entire team up to a new level. They are an incredibly strong unit, not a magic triangle

@@kayel4663 ok, you definitely took everything to an extreme. I had to cut things short bc the video would be too long, I had to cut a lot of fat out. Also the things that you have an issue with are extremely minor details that don’t affect the story of the club at all.
I can agree with you on some of the wording, rewatching it I can see it may seem I made Lahn sound like a local talent or about the deals - but what I said wasn’t wrong. I never said lahm came from the academy, I simply said he was a young local talent.
Regardless I wasn’t being petty, you can disagree or not like a video. But saying it’s a badly researched video and insulting the time and effort I tried to put in as a new content creator is not correct.
I’m constantly improving my work and trying to tell better stories and make better videos with both facts and opinions.
I really enjoyed making that video and learning a lot about a club that wasn’t receiving any recognition for their amazing achievements this season and simply wanted to show how difficult their history was and where they are now.
The magic triangle is opinionated. I simply just wanted to make that connection from the past to the present.
Thank you for your input and comment
