Great mod and content like always guys. Some of my other friends have done this mod as well, with good results. I do remember them using a wet dry vacuum during the hole cutting inside the hull to suck the fiberglass dust during the hole cutting installation. Drop cloth looked to work okay as well. Hey guys, just ordered one. Im curious if you noticed any extra water inside the hull? Im suprised Kspeed doesnt tell us to seal the raw fiberglass with hardener or gelcoat or something? Any input?
Joeys, great question. no extra water at all. i mean, if you completely submerge your ski up to the handlebars, maybe but doubtful. the cool air panel i have been told can allow some water to come down but i haven't had that problem yet. anyway, no extra water from the 5th hole air intake.
@@TheAdventureState cool! Yea i actually have always taken that panel out on my ultras, and just ran nothing there. Not sure when Kspeed started selling the filter panel but it definitetly sounds good with no panel. Much better sense of speed. I hope the filter panel doesnt block sound!

Great question, steven! It actually just sits/hangs there. Surprisingly its not in the way and being that steel hose, it doesnt flop all over the place.
Holes in his fiberglass hull wont have any influence on the strength and characteristics of the durability of his pwc hull? I heavyly doubt it. Especially such a huge hole in the front part.
The location of the 5th hole actually looks like the factory was going to add an intake vent there- it has absolutely no negative effect on the strength or durability or the hull or deck. The duct is also concealed under the side fairing
Is this mod possible to do on the Ultra LX? Or is the empty space where the hole is drilled on the 310 taken up by the flush port on the non-supercharged models?
Cody, it wouldnt work for the ultra lx as its a super charger pulley and the Ultra lx doesnt have a super charger. Sorry man. But if you hit up kspeed, they do have a ton of mods for that one.

Where does the rest of that hose go? Does it need to be zip tied out of the way, or routed somewhere inside the engine compartment? Thanks
