@@michealaonYT been doing it like this since 5th grade. I’m done with school though. Math problems always have a loop hole to solving the problem and I understood that. Whenever a new math topic was introduced, I would sit there, thinking of ways to simplify it to point where it could be done in my head with ease and speed. My tip to you is school’s teachings on math is impractical for the human brain to do in their head, but practical to be done on paper. This is school’s would invoke students to do the problem on paper(take make sure their not cheating, not taking forever on the test, and easier) and allowed calculators. Sadly people rarely seem to learn anything unless it’s taught to them.

    Alternatively, you can flip it. For example, 40% of 500 = 500% of 40, so therefore if 100% of 40 = 40, then 500% of 40 is simply equal to 40 + 40 +40 +40 +40 or simply 40 x 5, which is 200.

I don't know why but when I got to the 25% of 300 part I just stated crying, I genuinely don't know why, maybe your voice just reminds my subconscious of someone, idk, just questioning why I started crying is making me cry more which is hurting my eye
Edit: I went back, I think I'm starting to understand it, maybe it was just one of those good crys that were needed, I'm not in tune with my emotions so I don't really know what stress feels like but me and my mother have been at each others necks since last Saturday so maybe thats just been piling up to the point where even just the slightest bit of a supportive voice made me loose it, and your voice did sorta remind me of some people, this nice lady patsy who reignited my passion for math and went over math that I thought was difficult but isn't anymore because she just sat down with me and explained it and some primary teachers of mine, I miss those times, schools always been a form of escapism until it suddenly wasn't anynore , I'm sorry, I'm rambling, I think I just needed to put this out to some random people again, some have come back with supportive stuff in the past idk, maybe its wishful thinking, idk I'll just go

This is an astounding video simplifying and explaining percentages, although I would recommend after calculating 10%, by moving the number's decimal place over to the right by one, you could then multiply it to find the one's digit and then move the decimal place over to the right again. For example, instead of finding 10%, 5%, and 3% of 39, we could find 10%, 3.9, then multiply 3.9 by 8 to find the remaining 8%, and move the decimal place over to the right to conclude; 3.9+3.12=7.02, the same answer seen in the video, showing a comparatively more simple, functional method that works for any number and percent.

How do you multiply 3.9 by 8 in your head? Any shortcuts?

    Q]25 % of 300
    10% of 300 = 30
    10% of 300 = 30
    5% of 300 = 15
And got 75 in total yay I finally get it thank youuuu 😩💕

great lesson! for the last one, I did:
    (20% of 39) - (2% of 39)
    = (10% of 39)*2 - (1% of 39)*2
    = 7.80 - 0.78
    = 7.02

In fair analysis of your percentage calculation, frankly speaking you're making your viewers follow your pattern of style, if you're eyeing for an edge it doesn't look like that, if your aiming for confusion because you're basing your former percentage calculation to the 10th percentile, where the succeeding calculations percentage wise were based on that, what if it's randomized needing instant answer with accuracy, then they're lost with your formula and you achieved your purpose of confusing them, may I ask if you're a Westerner or Chinese using the Confucius style principle? I can say this because an Indian percentage calculation did that in seconds of their own percentage calculation shortcut style.

Another way I do it is:
x% of y is the same as y% of x.
So 15% of 200 is the same as 200% of 15.
This is because finding 200% is more easier without Calculator which is just 2.
    Then Multiply 2 by 15 to obtain 30 👍
