It's kind of amusing to me that Abigail isn't into Journey of the Prairie King. Maybe she's too much of a fangirl to forgive inaccuracies, or it reminds her of especially difficult levels.

The problem with theater I had is that by the point I got there - I already had maxed out hearts with NPCs I needed, so it was a royalty and just meaningless stuff to do lategame, but it does look very cozy!

I'm marrying and divorcing everyone in the village and the theater is so good for getting those first hearts! Took Elliot to Prarie King and got him his favorite snack. Even though he hated the movie, I gained a whole heart in one day (plus one normal quality loved gift)

I would have used the movie theatre on my true perfection run, but by the time I acquired it I had all of the town maxed out in friendship, so I thought there was no point in using it. I did however use it later to take my spouse out to a movie since I had most things done by then and that was the only time, I used it.

Really? I feel the Community Center is kinda in the middle of a bunch of bush and trees The Jojamart location is more convenient for me. Also, I find the Cinema you get upon unlocking the Community Center is far prettier than the one from the Joja route because the Joja cinema has this industrial blue decor which is a big turn off for me.
newer tried but cant Penny and Pam come to movie if you play multiplayer and each of players take one of them or movie theater cant be used by multiple people in multiplayer at once? anyway, it is either overlook from dev to make Pam never join, or easter egg hidden behind code or usage of co-op too bad you cant buy and keep movie snacks too and would be great if there was more "dating" options, at least for one chosen person you date, there could be option to take your partner (or even every friendly villager) to spend time at some of locations, like spa, lake, park, secret forest or even to island resort, could had each different effect of friendship, from disliked locations, affected by weather.. too much to ask I guess and sure writing it here changes nothing, but since this actual interaction with villagers, island resort that makes them go somewhere and movies to take them with you is wonderful addition, it is more than mere talk and hug/kiss once a day, alongside giving them stuff once in a while

maybe i'm just lucky but most of the time i go to the theatre, the guy is almost never at the crane. but i hardly play the crane game 'cause i personally don't like any of the items it offers 😬
Try to grab it when it is on the small square conveyor belt. I move the crane to the top-left most corner of the track and as soon as I see the prize I want pass by the corner right below that, I tap down and it usually times is just right.
Right but you don’t get to yeet Morris into the sun, you don’t get the bonus friendship points for completing the community Center, and you’re selling out to the company you left behind in the first place. Is Pierre better? Somewhat, when he’s not doing shady deals. But you don’t complete the community center for functionality, you do it for the gameplay. Also taking Clint out of his shop on Fridays sucks with the community Center run. I’m fully not gonna change your mind here and that’s okay, but there are pros and cons to joja route and community Center route. And having 2 buildings that are functional to the player isn’t a universal desire. I personally don’t need 2 buildings to shop from and I’d rather spend the 5k early on on other things, in addition to not wanting to shell out all the money I earn on building a warehouse. But again, not trying to change your mind. Just sharing my counter and explaining my POV. And tbh it’s awesome that there are so many ways people can play and have a good time doing so.

It's great! It's also a way that you can fill the basement out fully, just use a hoe to pick everything up and then place it back down again
