If you look back to maybe just over a year ago. I remember your dad was still holding back about being filmed or getting upset waiting for you to set up your cameras. Now fast forward to this year. Dougo now has his own camera and literally did the majority of his own filming this harvest. And it was all great content. I'd say he is starting to come around. Lol

Agree with you 100% about the wind system. After we started using one we would never be without one again. We finished harvest on the 15th also. In 2012 we finished on the October 2nd. Hopefully we will have a lot more harvests like this.

Fun Fact. If you had slowed the unload speed down and taken a bit more time when you loaded into the semi you could have cleaned a lot more dirt out of your beans. Don't know if it would have changed the dockage. We use that technique to clean up those small runs that might have too much trash that was green at the time of harvest but dries down and a striff breeze easily cleans up the sample when it drops. Love your vedeos.

Well done team Larson on getting your harvest finished top work. I love to hear Dougo and Chet sharing there wisdom with the rest of the farming family its good to share. The wind system is top drawer and it was good to see the difference between on and off. Much less loss with her on and makes all of the crop going into the feeder housing. Great video

As of Oct. 24, 2020 there are 167 (One Hundred Sixty Seven) Larson Farms videos (I counted twice); I've WATCHED EVERY ONE (some twice) and LIKED almost every one (may have missed a few) and enjoyed every minute. In fact today I had a 560 mile drive from Cleveland to St. Louis and then came to my office to finish off the series (about 6 hours worth)! Chet, Dougo, Swede, Mom, Nikki (EDITOR EXTRAORDINARE), Grandpa and the rest of the crew are all great content makers. I have to plug your machinery and parts suppliers (man I wish I had had people like that in my industry, so ready and capable to help and get things done when YOU needed them done). Kibble sounds like a dream connection to have ! AgChemical Solutions, Deere, Case, Crary, the Tuner Guy (sorry can't remember the name) are ALL LUCKY TO HAVE YOU AS THEIR AMBASSADOR. I'm sure you have single handedly sold plenty of machinery and materials to any farmer who keeps and eye on your videos. I'll keep watching; YOU KEEP SENDIN IT ! Now off to Farm Focus (Do they sell that awesome Crary hoodie)?

on your downed corn, use a cycle mower blade to cut the stalk from the ground and then use combine as usual but have the pickup wheel turning backwards picking up the stalks and feeding them into combine. Also you could proceed with the cycle mower but instead on turning the reel backwards take the right side arm or left side arm off so as not to pickup more stalks than can be feed into the combine that are already cut off the ground. . After you are through the downed corn then back to regular combining as usual. Just a suggestion.

thank you for all of the work that you put into these videos. I grew up on a "small farm" in NJ, we had 150 acres plus some rented land so just trying to imagine the scale you have is mind blowing. I commented when you added the Crary system to the draper header that the concept was such a simple elegant solution. Thanks for the filming of the with and with out views, it really is quite amazing.

Ill bet he'd love to help you that way. 😍 And maybe add a ladder that is easier to descend . Chet and Eric; love all you do/day too. Thanks for a great season. 😍😍😍

Patch the stalk stompers with chromium carbide overlay plate. 3/8th thickness. If the weight isn't an issue. The ultimate for abrasion resistance.
