Hello Zoom karaoke. Just want to ask you a favour can I use this Roy orbison karaoke track for one of my videos. Am doing Roy orbison you got it on my acoustic guitar and I would like to play it with your karaoke version, so could I use it I would be really grateful thanks. Great channel by the way.
Um.. while this is the correct key... and honestly this is not the karaoke version.. this is an instrumental of the actual song... but... that is ok... its the key that is actually an issue for me... (and I'm sure many others).... who the heck can tap those high notes in the songs original key... better question (and this is in general) why does everyone insist on singing in the rafters all the time... every song I know and love only a soprano can actually sing it.. (and I'm not talking about an Italian)... but I would love this song done in true karaoke style... in true karaoke they usually redu the song in a lower key so everyone that's got them, (grabs crotch) can sing the song.. I wish there was a version of this song in a lower key... there is no way I can karaoke this song in the high key its in... : (
It’s not an instrumental of the original song, it is our karaoke re-recording. We always make songs in the original key because people expect that. It’s not for us to assume that people can’t sing songs in the original key. DK Karaoke used to change the key and it was really irritating when you sing their version and it’s not in the key you’ve learned and practised.
Generally I am in agreement with you, most songs are way too high for my voice. I am a low baritone/bass, Roy Orbison was a baritone as well, I am no great singer but with a little technique I can manage this without a problem. I guess I am lucky that my range breaks about the same place as Mr. Orbison. I couldn't sing these all night, but one or two in a night is no problem.
