The "GCM Racing1" guy has a neat motor and transmission upgrade on his channel. More power and deeper (slower) reduction gearbox allowing heavier loaded trailers without killing your battery.
Awesome video. To get more views make a review on Banggood and just post a link to your videos. Also some of the other big Chinese selling sites might have it for sale so also put it on them e.g. GearBest. Plus with such informative videos I am sure you should be able to have new RC models for review if you wish.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Yes, I saw that, a beautiful thing indeed. I wondered if there was a way to make it work somewhat faster cse it's really slow! I noticed the wire motor works is synchronized with the bows one to keep the hook at the same distance whatever the length of the crane. Does that mean it would be close to impossible to change the speed ?
I just purchased one from Asiatees.com for $599.00 + $111.00s/h. I converted an old Tamiya box trailer into a flatbed......I know it's 1/14 scale but it will have to suffice for now until HEMTT trailers become available. I ordered the light kit and sound kit which should arrive later this month. I installed an Ovonic 7.4v 6200mah battery and it runs great!!!! Nice truck!!!!
@@HobbyconceptsLLC I solved the problem of having to remove the battery for charging by fabricating 18" cable extensions for both JST and DEANS connectors. I know it's kinda like cheating but it's a fine solution that works for me. I await your sound and light installation video with great enthusiasm!!!! I'm so happy I found your TH-cam channel.......you're sooooo awesome!!!!! Thanks a million!!!!
I don't notice them being extra loud when I run it, maybe the video caught more than I did. It does have 4 diff's and a transmission so a lot going on under there.
Nice, but the suspension does not look all that impressive on those, for example the 8x8 1/12 MAZ BC8 truck (Which is really similar to this) made by cross rc with the "torsion" type suspension seems to have better, more realistic, articulation and travel in the suspension, still nice truck.
Why? RC stuff is just starting to get good now and the prices are coming way down. Would you say the same thing about model airplanes and model trains?

MOunts the winch. There is also an optional crane you can add.

I have just been using some 2000 NIMH packs I had laying around. I do plan on eventually going to 5000mah 2 cell Lipo's.
