That takes me back to the 80s, when I had just bought my very first car, an old, wine red VW Golf 1, and my best buddies from school and I were driving around, listening to the "Show No Mercy" tape blasting on full power, headbanging like crazy and just having the best time. I miss those times..
I honestly have never seen him as a fat person; certainly with a massive presence but due to a basic robust physique, fat people are different; he has always remained more or less of a size, also now that he is getting older like all people; this change might not be a good thing... then of course with all the money he has he is certainly followed by those who know more about us...
Mark Osegueda is destroying those Slayer songs. No offense to Tom Arya but damn Mark is nailing those highs and taking the lower registry to another fucking level. I'm now 50% more interested in Kerry Kings new project.
So it’s basically Slayer with Mark taking Tom’s spot. Phil filled in for Gary on a few dates of the Slayer final tour. The new album KK even admitted that it’s all Slayer riffs he had. I’ll have to see this tour if it comes around. 🤘🤘
King certainly keeping his legacy alive. I mean, its his life work and his job. I fully understand he couldnt just sit around n call it a day. This is so good to see. As someone who got in to Slayer in '86 i can assure all newcomers that this scene was, and still is very much alive. Not just King though. There's many new thrash acts coming through that are keeping the thrash flame alive. If you are, lets say, between 10-16 and just discovering thrash, youve found the real old skool sound. Theres a channel on here that dedicates itself to new thrash metal. Think its called @NWOOSTM (new wave of old school thrash metal). Well worth checking out to discover some great newer bands, but if you wana keep it old skool then Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Megadeth, Testament, Destruction, Overkill, Dark Angel, Annihilator, Sabbat, DRI (crossover band), SOD, Death Angel - to name a few - are go-to's. Anyway. Metal forever! 🙂🤘🏻

I remember first time I saw king, 91 clash of the titans tour, in maine...he had the spikes and hair......it was july 5th I believe.... I saw them a total of 18 times and loved every show, the ones I remember..lol
KING is amazing live. I blew up my car coming back from BMX park and scraped it for Slayer tickets, we went earky to by door tickets and actually got to meet KK. God Hates Us All tour @ the Masquerade, YBOR FL. He was super cool, signed a Terrorizor Mag with Slayer on cover, I actually caught a pick. Awsome time. Good friends talked me into still going and I am glad they did.
