1:40 Quick note: The terms N-5, M-3, M-5, M-10, and Y-10 are all incorrect. They are simply referred to by the following: Model M Single Head (N-5/M-3), Model M (M-5/M-10), and Model M Code Siren (Y-10). The only exception is the M-10, which was only used during the time that Sentry produced the Model M.
@MasenMonster I found that out a while back when on the siren board, I tend to look at posts there very often. Thanks though. Did the Sentry M-10 look like the sterling models?
Thanks! I hope to get more videos like this out in the future. Somewhere not that far from where I was that day, there an STH-10 that sounds off daily at 5 PM, so I hope to get that someday.
One of the STH-10s I live. Near is Inactive, while the other one I live near is in a bad spot to record:(, but I know of one nooner and one possible nooner:)
@NebraskaWarningSirens The only sirens I live close to is an inactive FS Model 5 on a Police training building thing, so I can't get up close to it. And an FS Model 5T in Navy housing blocked off by a gate, so can't see that one either.
@@bentheidioticnerd8993 I like drawing sirens, I'm on a mission to draw sirens across us Canada and the UK and I've drew the Darley aka "fedeldarley" in this video
Im a siren geek 1000%. I know a lot about sirens. But why in tf is it called "fedelcode" And not "federal"? Like federal signal? I've always been confused by that shit.
@NebraskaWarningSirens oooohhh!! Ok! I always thought it sounded stupid because I thought they shortened it for federal signal or some shit. The more ya know! And I'm a super siren enthusiast and I never knew that before🤣🤣
@@NebraskaWarningSirensnot anytime soon, I don't live anywhere near there. Though I did get to Nebraska in 2023 for mainly railfanning. I didn't think to look for any sirens since I wasn't in to them at the time unlike now. I mainly will do siren hunting in places local to where I live which was north of where these were.

@ Yep
@@bentheidioticnerd8993 Sentry Ms are typically longer rotor and stator wise, they look just like 10V2T stators.
Wow, a green STH-10 is pretty rare. Good finds!

Nah purple sirens are even rarer
Our town has a yellow one the same color as stl 10s

Is the fedelcode active? i know the firestation is marked as permenantaly closed
Pretty sure it's inactive
oh wow i drove past that fedelcode before
1:40 poor siren:( just an old model m rustin' away makes me sad.....
Wish I could take it home. Heard it likely hasn't been used since the 80's
@bentheidioticnerd8993 yes totally, quality sirens shouldn't deserve to die like this
@@NebraskaWarningSirens Don't forget the Darley Helmet as well

But I won't draw sirens nobody cares about (2001s ATIs etc.)

@bentheidioticnerd8993 ok, I live near an 8/8 sterling m, an sth10a a Fedelcode 5, a type b that is replaced by 14v but still standing and more!
@@bentheidioticnerd8993 is there a lot of siro-drones around where you live? There's not a lot in Nebraska....
@@NebraskaWarningSirens no, but there is a T-Bolt in Norfolk and Newport news.
@NebraskaWarningSirens the closest sirens to me are an FS Model 2 removed between 2009 and 2011, a Model 5, and a 5T in Navy housing.
