I PR’ed on segment a few days ago. Then I went full ham after a very slow first part of the climb. So this lower speed was expected. I knew what power I needed to hit on the overall, so I wasn’t worried about that slowish part. 😅
Well I just had a go at this GRADE after watching your inspirational video. My time was 11.11 and at 57 and 57 kg Standing all the way Zwift said my FTP was 265w. I think I averaged 307w, Time for a muffin 😋😋
Nice effort, my best is 12.43 but I haven't had a full gas go at it yet. I'm 57 and 57 kg short, and will stand all the way, I'm hopeless seated, I'm hoping for around 280-290 W for the climb,. Love ya videos and not everyone is a cheat!!
Well done, was this the most optimal set up? Does the flat part mean that the specialized aethos + Meilenstein's lose too much time compared to more rolling hill optimized set ups?
I was gunning for some aero gains in the first half and the flat part. In hindsight I should have taken the aethos, bc I think I lost a few seconds on the climb with this setup.
@@RideWithGerben not a clear cut choice which is why I asked. I bet the times will be very similar. Haven't tried it myself yet ... been too busy checking out the competition ever since zwift increased prices 😂
@@RideWithGerben am currently in my third week of their FTP builder programme which is really good. My annual Zwift subscription will run out in December but I honestly have little motivation to keep going on Zwift knowing that I won't renew when it runs out.

Hi! Thx. 4 w/k is possible. I am not a trainer. Never followed a plan. But I did ride a lot. Mostly shorter routes/races and then faster and faster each time. I lost a LOT of races, got dropped a LOT, but in two years I got at 4.5 w/k.
