    Ok ang tutorial na ito for starters. Eto yung tinuturo sa school charging thru base sa Amperage ng Aircon kaya hindi na gumamit ng timbangan at base sa suction pressure ng P/T chart. Pero sabi sa name plate rating may factory refrigerant charge ito ng 7lbs or 3.18kg na R410a kaya kung may timbangan ka hindi ka na magtatancha kung ilan ang ikakarga mo na R410a maliban kung may additional ka na tubo papasok sa indoor unit. Isa pa yung pagkuha ng Target superheat dapat chinecheck din yun. Actually nagbigay na ang manufacturer subcooling standard na 8F -/+3tolerance. Napansin ko sa mga technician basta lumamig lang ang tubo ok na without considering test yung superheat which varies base sa Indoor wetbulb temp at outdoor temp. Good Job po sa Basic Tutorial

    8:10 Sala po ang tinuturo nyo sa manonood nyo.
    Ang R410a ay kinakarga ng Liquid State sa Low Side (Gas Side).
    Sala din po ang tinuro nyo about sa Mataas ba ampere ay makakasira ng unit. Hindu po totoo yun, Dahil may OVERLOAD PROTECTION ang Compressor ng aircon bukod pa yan sa PCB board ng unit na meron safety shut down kapag tumaas o na reach na ang Max Amp Load.
    Ang R32 naman po ay pwede i-charge both Liquid or Gas sa unit.
    Mali din po ang tinuro nyo na need kag stop ng karga kapag na reach na ang 118-125 psi...guide lang po yan pra sa mga technician...pwede pa tumaas ang karga jan ng r410a...meron unit na naandar ng naabot ng 140-150 psi meron 165-170 kapag naka high power na ang compressor.
    Sa mga techs, wag kayo matakot na mag explore at huwag makikinig sa video na ito. Kalokohan lang matutonan nyo.

    I'm sorry to say but there were discussions which do not conform with the best practices in air conditioning. Many will be misled with some of the explanations. As what they say, experience is the best teacher.

    Hindi uubra ang charging method pag mag base sa gauge reading specially varaible compressor.Suction pressure may vary room temp and frequency of compressor.The correct way in charging is by weights.Dapat ikilo ang pag karga.Pwede mag base sa nameplate na nakalagay outdoor unit.Or pwede gamitin ang estimated factory charge na 800grams/TR.And always consider blended refrigerant charge by liquid.Kaya nga by kilo ang pagkarga.Initial charge liquid when unit is off.Para safe ang compressor.Much better pag may liquid reciever or may device ka na liquid will turn into vapour refrigerant.May nabibili pong ganun.Always base in brand manufacturers and always check MSDS refrigerant

    Always remember the R410A is a blend refrigerant, if your system has a leaks, better off recover some of the refrigerant, don't recover the remaining leave few pounds becuase you are sucking air from outside. Then pressurized the system as manufacturer recommendation psi, fixed the leak pressurized again with nitrogen, pulled vacuum, triple vacuum, watch gauges for rises. Digital maniolfd can detect any of the rising pressure, analog won't, if the system fully sealed proceed with charging. The reason why we pulled the remaining charges is R410A is a blend refrigerant and big possibility one of the blend either R32 and R125 are fractionating. Charge through liquid phase by inverting tank, zero out your weight scale and follow manufacturer charge, any additional charge based on the line set lenght. Watch the temperature glide because these are blend, R22 is the best you don't have to worry about glide temp and fractionation. Thank you.
    Ditto: Few reason why oil and the refrigerant itself turn into acidic due to several reason. WE assumed during the installations all manufacturer recommendations are followed, now during the course of time the homeowner forgot the manufacturer PM, coils clogged with solid dust and the fan had a hard time to dissipate heat. The oil overheated and create acidity, now we have filter drier, overtime the desiccant couldn’t keep up and partially clogged this become a metering itself. You can check it using temp clamp each side and there is a significant dropped of temp is a sign. Now the deep evacuations we need a good vacuum pump with new oil because contaminated vacuum pump oil won’t pull a deep vacuum. The analog manifold won’t show a small leaks unless a big leaks, better off with digital but not everybody can afford quality equipment. Some of the split type right now we don’t go with the system pressure, manufacturer recommend the amp draw.

    Thanks you very much, explained very well,
    but other technician explained charging refrigerant different way in their Video , such as super heat of return gas and sub cooling.
    They weight the gas bottle during charging, ....
    The way you explained here is simple and I really like it, but what is advantage and disadvantage...thanks

      The way of charging that she explained is inaccurate...the pressure of refrigerant is dependent on ambient temperature, hence you cannot get the proper amount of refrigerant charge if you are basing it by pressure. It should be by weight...

    Mam regarding sa r410 refrigerant.. Binanggit mo yung arrow sa bawat dulo na gas at liquid refrigerant.. Paglilinaw lang po yung arrow po na yan ay binbanggit lang kung saan ang gas region at liquid region ng freon sa tank pero hindi po nito sinabi na sa ganyang paraan din sila dapat i charge sa unit... Ang r410 ay blended refrigerant. 50/50 ratio ng 2 klaseng refrigerant... Nasisira ang ratio na yan kapag gas na galing sa tank na nai charge sa unit. Kaya nga pag nag charge kami nyan kahit pa sa gas line ng comp yan papasukin ay nakataob o liquid naming kinakarga yan tapos gagamit lang kami ng vaporizer para maging gas sa pagpasok sa comp para di masira ang comp...
    Kasi kung gagawin ko po yung suggestion nyo di na po kami dapat gagamit ng vaporizer nyan kung maikakarga naman agad yan ng gas sa unit.. Paki correct na lang po kung mali man ako...

      salamat po..pero sir once na ang chemical s po ay pinagsama..iisa na lang po sila..mali po ung sinasabing masisira ang blended..isa pa po ang tawag po sa ating refrigeration at aircon ay saturated vapor compression system...it means it must be vapor ang papasok sa compressor....pag liquid po pinasok nyo....masisira po ang compressor kasi po..liquid po ay d na cocompress... kaya nga po kayo gumagamit ng vaporizer..para po dapat lang..vapor ang papasok sa compressor.... sa totoo po sa mga expericnce namin sa pag re-process o mag cha charge ng mga aircon..wala na po kaming vaporizer....ok naman po ang takbo....

      parang pareho lng din naman yan sir. ano ba pinagkaiba ng refrigerant R410a na nasa tanke at pag china charge na sa system. nagiging vapor din nmn yan pagdating sa evaporator at nagiging liquid pagdating sa condenser. so it means pag nasa evaporator na ang refrigerant hindi na pantay ang mixture?

      normally po..liquid refrigerant ay china charge sa high side...dapat nakataog ang refrigerant tank at mas mataas sa high side chaging port.....wag po sa low side...sisirain po nya ang compressor..pag liquid..problem po..sa mga split type bihira ang mayhigh side charging port..meron lang po ang low side charging port...kaya dapar gas ang e cha charge nyo sa low side...

      as long as your unit is working good...no leaks..cooling..you don't have to charge again..it will take years bfore it got troubles again...

    Thank you sa karagdagang kaalaman. Ano po trouble yun aircon koppel brand. Sa una pagtakbo nya ok malamig pag nagauto. Fan motor nalang ang umaandar. Ang comp. Ayaw ng tumakbo. Ok naman cap. Running 40uf. Starting 100 o 89uf sa cap meter. Sana matulungan po ako. Salamat.

      baka po bumibigay ang compressor...pag po ba tumakbo..mayamaya..mamamatay..tapos tatakbo muli...nag tritrip off po ang olp..may problem sa compressor..check nyo po CSR..kung grounded..shorted...by means of tester.....meron po kaming video dito..how to troubleshoot compressor....

    R410a is composed of 2 refrigerant ,ang r25 at r32 mas effective pag liquid ang ikarga para balance ang dalawang refrigerant na papasok sa system Ng unit. At Kong maaari gagamit Tayo ng weighing scale SA pag charge Ng refrigerant at dapat nka off ang unit habang kinakargahan idol

      R410a po ay mixture ng CH2F2 / R-32 at CHF2CF3 / R 125 po hindi R 25....compressor po ay vapor compressor and tawag..design po sya for vapor..not liquid..REf n AC po ay design for Tempe/ Pressure..not weight...mga mechanical engineer po ang nag dedesign about Ref n AC...

      @@mecainusaraga7408opo... ginagamitan po namin ng superheat at subcooling method.computation....para po malaman ang tamang pressure..hindi timbang..kasi nga po nag babago ang ambient temperature...Refrigeration and ac is about temperature and pressure not weight...ang isang kilo pong R410 a at 90 F ay isang kilo pa rin po sa 100F..pero iba po ang pressure ng isang kilong R410a at 90F.. compare sa 100F....ambient temperature...kung ang karga po ng AC ay example 1.5 kilo..iba po ang pressure sa low side..comprae sa high side...design po ng AC is 45F sa low side..while design po ng condenser sa high side ay 110 to 120F...comporme po sa lugar..iba po ang design ng AC sa New York..compare sa Pinas..kasi nga po mag kaiba ang ambient temperature..iba rin po and design sa matataas ng luagar..compare sa sea level area..

      Additional info lang po mam... Yung unit po ng ac charge kung i check nyo sa unit ay by weight ang the best na charge.. Yung dami ng refrigerant na nakalagay dun ay sakto sa subcooling at superheat na sinasabi nyo...

      ang refrigerant po ay mixture ng gas at liquid..kaya ang tawag po sa kanya ay fluid..fluid means niehter liquid nor gas....dapat po gas lang ang dapat papasok sa compressor..kasi po..nakakasira po ng compressor..pag itoay liquid...

    maam, pag patay yung aircon diba unti unting mag equalize ang pressure ng disch. at suction. pag ganun po naging vapor form ba yung refrigerant sa buong system?

      tama po kayo..pag patay ang aircon..equalized na po ang low side at high side....sa system po..ang refrigerant ay in form of fluid..fluid is neither liquid nor gas..fluid is not gas..fluid is not liquid....it is niether liquid nor gas..para pong fluid ng lighter....katulad din po ng LPG..liquidfide-gas....it means..sa loob po..may portion na liquid..may portion na gas...

      mali po..ang chemical po...once na pinag sama nyo ......iisa na lang po sila..parang kape..gatas..at asukal..hindi po kayo makaka inom ng kape ng kape lang..gatas lang... tubig na mainit lang..at asukal lang..pag uminom po kayo ng kape..mag kahalo na po sila..example lang po... dapat po talaga sa low side..ikarga mo ay gas..kung sa high side po..dapat liquid...

      Alam po natin na maraming composistion ang r410a at mag kakaiba sila ng pressure lalo na pag vapor state.
      Kaya pag gas lang ang i charge sa system ay anv unang papasok sa system yung pinaka mataas ang pressure. Kaya po wala na tayo sa tamang blend

      @@JarrenRogero Kaya ang the best way of charging sir is dapat kilohin ito when the compressor is off.Check manufacturers charged refrigerant or you can use the factory charge 800grams/TR.Then after mag exceed sa max limit need po additional grams/foot yan po ang ginagamit mapa maliit or malakihan na unit

      @@racroom2006 oo nga.. try mo inumin ang kape at gatas mo na hindi mo haloin. may lasa ba.
      r410a dapat liquid ikarga. hindi nman papasok sa comp mo ang liquid dahil meron pa daanan yan na accomulator o oil receiver. sasalain yan. at vapor lang ipasok nya comp.. try mo buksan ang accomulator o oil receiver pra malaman mo ang function nya. hindi lahat ng engineer tama. mas lamang parin ang technician dahil sa dami ng ginawa o nagawa. sa theory lang magaling ang engineer. pero sya ipa trouble shoot mo sa actual. pupunta muna yan sa computer at mag search.🤣🤣🤣🤣😂

      @@bigbird2922 kahit di mo kilohin. nka off comp mo. kargahan mo na agad ng liquid. standing pressure. i think r410a standing pressure 200 to 220. pag andar nyan. baba yan ng 110 to 120 psi.. yan simple na mabilis pa trabaho. kapag hindi kpa kumbinsido sa lamig. kuhanan mo ng superheart o subcooling. actual temp. at saturated temp. para makuha mo ang tamang boiling point ng refrigerant. kunin mo ang target superheat o target subcooling. tapos.. perfect andar ng makina. perfect ang lamig. iwas sira pa comp mo.

      sa totoo po..gas ang lumalabas..nakabaligtad lang po..pero take note ang valve ng tank po ay nasa ibaba..kaya po ang tumataas lang po papunta sa low side charging line ay gas ang pumapasok....liquid refrigerant can damaged the compressor.....bcuz liquid refrigerant cannot be compress,,,

    Kailangan parin po ba gawin yung vacuum kahit di nagamit yung ac? Kase after kinabit ng copper tube tas try namin on yung ac, bigla po kaseng nagloose yung copper na maliit tas natanggal at sumingaw lahat kaya siguro naubos freon sa loob. Di na tuloy lumalamig.

    Hnd inaabsorb ng refrigerant r410a ang init sa kwarto at dinadala sa labas ng condenser kundi inaabsorb ng evaporator fins para palamigin at pagdaan sa fins malamig na.

      hindi po sir..refrigerant po nag a absorbs ng init..kaya po pag may leak po ang air con..it means walang refrigerant..kaya hindi po lumalamig...marami pong sirang aircon na may evaporator pero nakatambak lang po..sa junk shop..pero may evaporator po sya..it means..hindi po ang aluminum fins ang nag papalamamig..and ref nga po..walang aluminum fins..pero nakakalamig..kasi po may refrigerant...

      ok din po un..nag purge po kayo ng air...ok lang po ito gawin sa mga bagong unit ng split type aircon...ganyan din po ginagawa ng ibang technician sa mga automotive aircon...pero..kung professional po kayo..at medyo social ung kakabitan nyo..mas maganda po..mag vacuum..para po pakita nyo..na yan ang tamang gawain...

      depende po sa unit....normally po 10 ft lang ang supply ng manufacturer...kung sakali pong malayo ang pag kakabitan nyo ng outdoor unit..mag dadagdag po kayo..extra singil ng mga installer..at normally extra dagdag ng refrigerant....may tawag po silang short cycle....o pweding over cycle..pag nasobrahan ang dagdag...

      kabitan po ng compound gauge sa service port ng suction service valve....e mid-seated position ang suction service valve....mapapansin na gagalaw ang neddle pataas..hanggang mag stabilize....ito ay habang tumatakbo ang air con....e front-seated ang discharge service valve....sa pamamagitan ng allen wrench..clockwise direction...mapapansin bumababa pa zero ang neddle ng compound gauge...at habang bumababa..e - ikot na dahan dahan pa front seated position ang suction service valve sa pamamagitan ng allen wrench.......at pag nasa zero reading na ang neddle ng compound gauge..e final front seated na ang suction service valve..... at patayin agad ang circuit breaker sa outdoor unit...pump down is completed....

      gas po talaga sa low pressure side..ang compressor po ay ang tawag ay gas pump..ibig sabihin binubomba po nito ay dapat gas lang..masisira po ang compressor pag liquid..liquid po ay d na cocompress..kaya nga tawag po sa compressor ay compress..purpose po nito ay i compress ang gas para maging high pressure... kaya po may hydarulic machine..gamit po dito ay liquid..kasi po d na cocompress ang liquid...kaya kaya nitong itaas ang mga kotse....

      @@racroom2006 totoo po yang sinasabi nyo pero ayun sa mga expert at sa experience ko din hindi gaya ng karamihan sa refrigerants naka right-side up, naka upside down talaga yung refrigerant container kapag R10a, kasi ayun sa manufacturer baka madisplace ang chemical blend nya, need mo lang gumamit ng "Liquid refrigerant charging adapter" or kung wala, gawin ang valve-crack charging technique ( paunti unti at paminsan minsan na pag bukas ng charging valve para maging vapor yung refrigerant), salamat po.

      Dipende po kc sa pagkarga ng refrigerant. Suggestion lng po ito.. After ng vacuum at sure na wala ka na leakage use weighing scale at mag charge ng refrigerant liquid note: make sure na tama yung timbang ng refrigerant na ilalagay at this point kailangan patay muna si unit, kapag nakuha na ung tamang timbang switch on the unit. Nasa name plate po yung tamang timbang ng refrigerant. Kung kulang man then add a little trough suction line with vapor.

      freon ? hindi naman po freon ang kinakarga kundi refrigerant...freon po ay isang brand ng manufacturer ng refrigerant... o tawag ay R 410a.. R32....R.. means refrigerant.....wala na po ngayon brand na freon....puro mga chinese brand na po.....pwedi pong buhay..pwedi pong patay..nasa diskarte na po ng technician....

      tumataas po kasi po d nya mailabas ang init..dahil madumi..nag hi-high hed pressure po..na pweding masunog ang compressor...

    Habang nagcha- charge po ba ay dapat po ba umaandar o nakapatay ang unit?

    Ma'am pwde pa palitan ng gas split type Aircon Mula sa r22 palitan ko ng 410a gas?

      pwedi naman po..kaya lang mas maganda..dapat palitan din nyo ng oil ang compressor..na dati pang R22..ipalit oil ng pang R410a....pag hindi po pinalitan..hihina ang cooling capacity.... at pwedi ring mag- cause ng pagka sira ng chemical composition ng R410a...
