What an underdog story. When Chris Wong beat UMA 3-0 to reset bracket, I thought it was going to be a Luke winner (scary thoughts!). Luckily UMA prevented a Luke win and did 3-0 come back. What an incredible journey to watch.

Last I checked Luke has not yet won a major tournament yet, mostly it was just offline. At least to knowledge anyway.
@@akilcharles3473 Mena has won several tornys, and he plays Luke and Blanka. So thats just one example. I can google some more to get more in detail but ya Luke has won a shit ton

Also online tournaments don't count, Im.looking for major offline tournaments like Kumite,Gamers8,etc.

This was a crazy set between these 2 high level pro players, woulda be happy for either of them winning for they're playing 2 of my favorite characters LUKE & JURI 💙💜.
But in the end UMA won and I couldn't be any more happier, Congrats to both of them.
Watching this reminds me how uninteresting Luke is to watch. I don't even think he's particularly broken. If they nerf the top 3 in SF I hope they show restraint and don't ruin their viability but personally I'd even rather watch JP than Luke
IMO Luke would have been so much more interesting if he had no projectile. Give him some kind of projectile invulnerable ground move and make him a pure MMA scrapper. Then he'd be interesting to watch.

Its Luke Fighter 6 or Street Luker 6 or Luke Lukers Lix but I rather prefer to play with Kage, Nash, Colin, Poison, Necalli, Sakura, Lucia or Rose then Luke. All my favorite characters are not in SF6 😔 My only ones I can play when I get SF6 that i personally played a lot are Guile, Ryu and Chun that were my mains on SF4, SFxTK, SF5, MVC2.

Luke is every bit as busted as vanilla sf4 Sagat.. this guy just pulled off a miracle... There needs to be major nerfs in that balance patch or these tournaments will continue to be garbage like this one

I think bracket reset happens in every major tournament. Certainly more often than not.
It does seem to happen a lot. I'd guess the adrenaline for the loser side player is just so high

I don’t understand 😂 why did uma win? They both won 3 rounds
So Uma327 won because theres 2 brackets, a winners one and a losers one. If you make it to the grand finals from the winners bracket you get an extra chance, which is the benefit of not losing at all. While obviously the person in the losers bracket doesn't get that advantage when they make it to the grand finals, because they had lost.
So Uma won in winners bracket giving him the spot in the grand final with a "extra life" if he loses. While Chris won in the losers bracket, giving him another shot at being in the grand final, but with a dissadvantage because he lost before. Also the one who put Chris in the losers bracket was Uma lol

Basically It is double elimination. You need to lose twice to lose the tournament. UMA never lost before. And Chris Wong has lost once before this Grand Final. @@samsunganycall1

Props to UMA but this was really a dud of a tournament. It was way too slow with not nearly enough matches. Also, penalising the best region (Japan) really made the matches far less exciting.
Hope Capcom cleans this up because they're squashing their own hype
