Today were looking at the 2020 Thor Miramar 37.1
This is Thor Motor Coaches tier 3 motorhome out of 4.
Its a higher level the the Thor Windsport or Thor Hurricane
but a lower level then the Thor Challenger
What I love about this motorhome is that it gives you Bunk Beds with 2 Full Bathrooms! This also has 3 slide outs this is a Spacious Class A Gas Motorhome!
Also it is on the Bigger chassis with 22.5 in tires

I HATE that refrigerator! I’d rather have a double door with water and ice in the door like many other manufacturers are using
I HATE that we can’t flat tow our 7000lb F-150.
I HATE that you can’t have a washer and dryer and are limited to a combo
I dislike the placement of the television
I’d rather have a one piece shower instead of that separate bottom tray. It’s easier to clean a one piece.
I HATE that they don’t have an oven. I dislike using a microwave to cook.
I dislike the sofa. I’d rather have a sofa bed than reclining seats. We have a family of 16, to include 6 sons and 6 grandkids. Sleeping space is a must. I feel like the family buying a RV with bunk beds requires extra sleeping space.

I didn't like the placement of the TV, the master bed is nice but I would like to use it while driving down the road. Love the floor plan actually what I'm looking for minus one bathroom and that it's too long. But very nice

I like the outside storage and floor plan. I do not like the TV location either. Yeah you are in an RV and not there to watch TV but if you are full time it is your home and you will be watching TV especially on bad weather days. If nothing else, put in a TV that flips down from the ceiling.

Sorry dude, horrible layout, the position of the potty is way to tight, the tv location, really sucks, all electric fridge even with propane on board, nope not for me. Replace the fridge with a 4 door gas/electric, have to recliners on wheels so we can turn at a 90 degree angle and center the toilet/s better, then I might be more interested.

I think this unit is under power. Don't like TV location Don't like bunk beds and master tilting bed. Like cockpit, color & tire size

Dislike the same things plus I dont like the plasticky shower doors and no.seatbelts for more than 2 passengers.
Like the ability to have a closet than bunk beds. Like the kitchen, like the dinette and like the cockpit.

The chair beside the TV is the worst! I would give up the 2nd bath for more seating. Why have all those places for people to sleep if they don’t have anywhere to sit?
I agree lol but with Motorhomes there is only so many designs they can do.
I don't like the walk through whe6the slides are in. I hate the tv spot and the fireplace placement. It's right next to the recliners and will cook your feet and the recliners. I also don't like the tilt a view bed.

Three things I liked:
1. Fit and finish of cabinets and the kitchen.
Uhh... I'll get back to you on the other two.

.... 2. Oh the rims! Those were nice.
3. I'm drawing a blank as nothing else really stood out. I'm not a fan of bunk house models.
Three things I disliked.
1. The placement of the TV compared to the theater seating. I understand it was a trade-off in having the bunk beds, but still. It just means that that motor home is meant to be lived out of instead of lived in.
2. I don't much like tilting beds because those motors are prone to going out and getting the bed back down is a pain in the butt.
3. No solar panels included even if to just keep a trickle charge on the batteries. Hey, I'm grasping here. It's a great coach for the fact it's a gas and at that price point.

They can put better steering wheel
your the 2nd person who mentioned the steering wheel... Thats a good idea
I think Ford updated their Class A chassis to have the F-Series steering wheel which can be leather wrapped.

First of all your awesome traveling with your cat! Likes: 1; storage 2; 2 bathrooms 3; dash, Dislikes: 1; TV ( I do love a day of relaxing and watching TH-cam) 2; the bed (I've pulled over at a rest just to sleep and eat, so accessing certain parts without moving slides is key for me) 3; I would agree with the fridge should have been bigger.

I feel like they need to make more models for full time families with kids because a lot of people have interest in that. I would want a lot more storage for clothes, toys, games, etc. I do like that they have been putting 2 baths. I also would like to see they maybe try a triple bunk instead of just double. I also think they need to go less fancy and more practical when design because all I see in this model is shiny brown. Thank you so much Matt for doing these reviews. No offense but I'd NEVER BUY. New or used or any rv that random people actually walked on top or the roof of any RV YIKES!!!! SPECIAL ORDER I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THESE EXTRA BIG MEN THINK THAT THEY CAN JUST walk on top 😲 that roof will leak most likely in the first year WTH ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING?? Same goes for a mobile home ECT!! Stay off the roof!!

2. I plan on sleeping as the RV is moving. Don't like the back bed that it doesn't lay flat out.
3. I wish the kitchen and living room area was designed differently. I wish you gave more of a separate room feel but having things more circular fashion.
Dislike the length on a gas chassis.
$190k and it doesn’t have full body paint!!!!
Gloss finish on all the cabinets and doors.
TV location. Although it would be better if the seats and dinette were flipped and then add a pull out L shape sofa.
Only 2 AC’s on a 39ft MH?
Not much to like as it’s setup the same as almost every other MH
Love: bunk beds, living area, dash/command center.
Dislike: sofa placement, rather it were accross from the dinette. Stackable W/D rather than the combo W/D. The sofa should be a tri-fold sofa bed.
Dislikes -
1- TV mounted 90° to seating
2- Smallish refrigerator (to correct my first two dislikes Miramar needs to install a larger(wider) refrigerator (not a side by side) and mount or integrate the TV to the door of the refrigerator)
3- Master bedroom TV does not swing out to allow access to the storage behind it. (this is easily corrected with some hinges like on other motor coaches and I was surprised they did not have it)
Likes -
1- Two bathrooms
2- Nice floor space with slides out
3- Rear mounted fuel filler location

1. dislikes the 2 chair with the TV mounted to the side wall too.
2. Dislike the small fridge. I agree take the wall space out for larger fridge.

Worh me I like ovens. I guess you can bring like portable oven, because they have those. This to me is roughing it. Last time I went camping a bear went inside my tent when we went hiking since then I haven't gone camping.

1.i really don't care for indication cooktops. Not a deal breaker
2. Would like to see a small couch
3. Font care for high gloss cabinets a mate finish would look better to me
4. With all that storage they could an outdoor kitchen near the tv
Also, a dishwasher should be an optional choice. I would have my perfect RV along with my like/dislike list posted before this remark.

I wish a salesman like you worked at Trailer Hitch RV in Nipomo, CA. Your videos are very informative and entertaining, I guess I’ll have to go to where you are whenever I’m ready to buy something like this, then I’ll drive it all the way back home(or to a storage place if it won’t fit at my house)
I live up on the Mesa. Trailer hitchs prices are pretty high. Heading to Ohio to save $10k
Love the bunk beds/closet area, the stackable washer/dryer, the two full bathrooms, and all the exterior features. Definitely hate, to the level of being a deal breaker, the location of the TV set at the living area, not only because it is not ergonomic, but because the electronic fireplace is so close, even partially blocked by the recliner, that I think it constitutes a fire hazard.

Would like it if the washer & dryer were actually installed.

What is the overall difference between Miramar and Challenger? except for full body paint?
Much too tight with the slide outs in. It has slide outs that's 2 negatives. Poor tv placement. Likes are 2 bathrooms. No cat on the dash.
I would remove the TV set and the fireplace, place a pantry there. Remove the pantry from the current location and use the space to fit a bigger refrigerator.

The placement of outdoor shower
The Tv (not a deal breaker)
The console in middle of driver and passenger seat

While camping We set up the rig pretty tight on that side to allow more room for the awning. Simple The shower placement wont work

Jen & Will, ladies 1st. I prefer 3-way rv fridge. Would rather swap fridge space for more pantry. Don't plan to watch much tv while camping. Beautiful rig! Love class A. Saw one lady turn the extra sleeping space into a kitchen garden.

Mr. Matt I like the Thor Miramar Rv. 2 full bathrooms, 2 air conditions always a plus and the outside basement storage. Dislike MSRP, frameless windows and TPO roof. I would like to see some Forest River Berkshire Rvs. Your Satisfy customer Coleman

Seems like excellent storage. I love 2 bathrooms & nice dinette. Not thrilled with high-gloss dark cabinets. Don’t like divided sink & counter space is too limited.

I loved 1) the rear fueling 2) the full backsplash in the kitchen and 3) both bathrooms were good sized.
I didn’t like 1) that TV placement WAS dumb 2) the bunk bed mattress looked thin for that pricey motorhome and 3) the first ladder rung is such a jump up for us shorties!

You're a hoot!! Love the level of info and demo in your videos! I like the 10 inch navigation system, Bunks with sliding doors to be use as storage when not needed and on demand hot water. The 2nd full bath is nice, but could get by with a half bath and gain more storage. I hate the small frig, TV placement and prefer room for separate washer and dryer versus combo. Overall a nice RV. Question: What do you mean when you say it's prepped for solar? Does it mean wiring is already in place to connect solar panels to battery compartment?

Small question: Can the dealer replace the extended arm of the TV to a 2 joints arm that will allow it to swivel into a 90 degrees angle (in front of the recliners)? should be a no biggy i think, but then again, why not put such an arm in the first place?

1 I love the bunk beds, 2 the basement storage 3 the kitchen counter. 1 I don't like you have to strain to watch the TV in the recliners 2 the gas mileage is going to be low. 3 I don't like it doesn't have more power sources for the fridge.

I agree like everybody else on the 📺 , .... but when you’re laying back in your recliner Who wants to be staring at a stainless steel fridge door? If you’re sitting diagonally at a booth or dinette it’s not so bad.

Looks like this would be a great Rv for weekends at the lake. Not in love with a unit this size being gas instead of diesel. That said, trips to the lake with the family this unit would work fine. I would never full time in this unit.

LIKES - 1. Love the full view & openness in the cab area. 2. Love the two baths & the bunk beds. 3. Love the outside storage compartments. 4. Love that the bunks can be turned into extra closet space when not in use. 5. Love the overall spaciousness in the living area. 6. Love the large dinette. 7. Love the wind sensor on the awning, brilliant. 8. Love the honest, funny, salesman! DISLIKES - 1. Hate how crowded the Master bath commode is to the shower and wall. 2. Hate the t.v. location. 3. Hate that the fridge is not full size, but would not want to lose pantry space for the full size fridge either. 4. Agree with the gentleman that commented about the lack of framing around the windows, makes it look a little cheap. I know what you're thinking, you get what you pay for, lol! Overall, I would still consider this motorhome, if I couldn't find one that solves the problem areas within a reasonable price. Do you know of any such animal?
